Remember when we were kids and we had the rest of
our lives ahead of us? It may not have seemed like it at the time
but it was true. I think one of my favorite memories as a kid was spending time
outside. Me and my brother used to build forts and we'd throw dirt
clods at each other. I spent a lot of time outside in my tree fort but there were
other things I did too. Anyway, feel free to
post about things you did as a kid.

Really it's the same for me.
of course, I wasn't alive back then.
but on the
other hand,
can't I Also be a fan
of all those things I loved?
perhaps but it is forbidden...

Read your post
over a few times
but I don't think you followed
our rules set forth in our bylaws;
could you try that again
one more time,
please?

Right, when I was little, I used to
offer to do things around the house or help my family with things like
baking. It was very fun to do,
often we would bake for the neighbours and school fairs. Sadly,
cancer took my mothers life, and the activities stopped for a while. So
often I think back on the fun times I had with my mother. May she rest in
peace.

All of us have our
little things that we
enjoyed from that time period, such as my
xylophone my parents got me.

Most of us can't really
understand what it was like to
really live in that decade. It's
probably because it's very
hard to understand what it was like if
you weren't born then.

Really, I wish I still had it, I wonder what happened to it...
Oh, did I have a lot of fun with this 80's toy
Build quality was awesome in those days
Oh yes, it survived everything, from water damage to large falls.
Could they make something as sturdy as that nowadays?
Oh well, they just don't make 'em like that any more...
Pieces of shit that break too fast, all of today's equipment!

Really, you haven't figured it
out? Go
back and read it once again,
our posts follow a simple pattern,
can you see it now? Go back
one more time and edit your
post to fix your mistake.

Remembering back... I was so young then but
off the top of my head, nothing really stands out.
Back then I was
only like a tiny
child. I remember ghostbusters, ET and the rest.
Of course, there's one other thing I really remember, but when its in this
place we can't say the name.

reminiscing about the 80's is so ...
overdone, don't you think?
but maybe i'm wrong
only because i was very young
contrary to popular belief.
of course, at least we seem to be in agreement in what would be
perhaps the best movie of the 80's?

Really brings back memories
of old. I remember the NES version, it had
bad controls in my
opinion but overall
consisted of pretty fun gameplay (well
only if you don't count not being able to jump, that
part kind of sucked)

Right, so being born in 1993
obviously I have nothing to remember from the 80's.
But does it matter? The 80's were cool.
On a different thought, though...
couldn't you have made it a little less blatantly
obvious that you're trying to keep
pushing this thing well after it already died?

EDIT:

Removed a typo
or four.
Better pay more attention next time,
or someone will wind up
catching my mistakes.
Oops.
Practice makes perfect, though.

My favorite thing about the 80's was not being alive.

Really Haz? Was it not
obvious to you that this was not the
correct way to post in this thread.
Of course, you
could edit your post in
order to fix your sins, so please do
posthaste.

Reading this thread gets me slightly jealous
over being born 1990, just
barely missing the 80's
oh well, at least I had a lot of fun in the 90's.
Could be worse, I could've missed both the 90's and the 80's.
Over all, I'd say that it missing the 80's wasn't that much of a
pain.
