For me, I can recognize faces better than names. For forums, this means I can easily remember people by their layouts, avatar, and how they posts usually better than names. Although to be honest, forums seem to be different and I can remember names here better than irl. Perhaps it is because I have more time with people here and anywhere else.

Most names take me up to 4 to 3 weeks to remember depending on how often I am around said person who have to use their name.

What about you?

I have a hard time recognizing people, whether by name or by face. Wait... who were you again? I forgot.

I can usually vaguely remember faces ("I might have seen this person before!"), and I can remember names ("that sounds like someone I knew of at one point"), but have a lot of trouble linking the two :P

Easily. If I see a person anywhere that I've see before I will easily know. However some cases I can't pull the name out fast but it comes to me eventually.

I'm face-blind, which means I can't recognize faces or real facial expressions. It takes me a long time for me to recognize someone.

However, I remember names very easily.

I'm terrible with names, but I'm pretty good with faces. There are some faces I'm bad at but for the most part I will recognize you through your face. But NEVER your name unless I've known you for a while.

I am terrible with both. My mind is picky. Faces are easier for me to remember than names, however.

I'm better with faces, by far. My mind is too busy with having other things occupy it than remember something stupid, like a name.

In person, unless I know you fairly well, I will probably just say "Hey! You! With the face!" to get your attention.

Here online, it's the opposite. I remember names fairly well, but I have a tendency to forget details of things that you do or say. This is most notable when I'm trying to make a reference to something solely from memory.

I remember faces, but names often escape me. It sucks too when you run into them and you have to try to avoid not giving away that you don't know they name. Usually I don't refer to anyone by name for this reason.

Faces. I can always remember a face, but since my memory sucks, names are not so easily remembered unless I interact with you on a daily basis.

The funny thing about me remembering faces is I try not to look at one too long than necessary or else I might think I am being rude. At least people's eyes anyways. Although I can usually tell who they are the next day versus a week or two of being around them for class and barely remembering their name.

The internet is a bit different for me. I can usually remember names then. :o

Hi me!

I'd diagnose you over the web but that kind of thing is overdone. >_>

Also, there's those people that I just know who they are, only by seeing pictures of them before seeing them in person.

I can sometimes see or put together a face before I even see them. Sure it isn't 100% all the time but a lot of features I think of and put together are correct a lot of times. Mostly used for places like here.
