As for me, I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy, Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Megaman 9, and Super Smash Bros Brawl to name a few.

How about you guys?

I went to Gamestop to see if they had Fire Emblem, Path of Radiance. They did, but they ALSO had another game.... A certain Final Fantasy 13, for only 8 dollars. Path of Radiance was 26. I got both, against my better judgement.

So I've been playing FF13 for the past little while and.... well it's boring. And pretty bad. I can't see myself really beating it, but hey, who knows?

From what my brother says, FF XIII really gets interesting after a while... I think it takes quite a while though. Stick with it for a bit longer, and give it a chance.

As far as games I'd like to get... I want to get my hands on Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Zelda: Wind Waker, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, and Super Paper Mario. Since I just recently bought my Wii, I'm working on building my library, and those are on the tippy top of my wish list.

Well, in my personal opinion, if I gotta wait 50 hours for the game to get good, it's not really worth playing. I'm just playing it to say "Hey, I played FF13". Nonetheless, I may stick with it if I'm not distracted by far better games... Like Skyward Sword, something else I've been playing recently.

Out of the games you mentioned, I'd suggest Wind Waker and Thousand Year Door the most. I never played Pokemon XD, but I THINK it's similar to Colosseum, in which case ehhh. Super Paper Mario was ok, but TYD was far better.

I was playing Super Mario 3D land. I got distracted working on the board and I wasn't able to get back it. Hopefully I can soon!

Lately, I've been mostly playing Solitaire.

No, really. Solitaire. That and dogfooding my own creations.

I want Wind Waker, because it's one of the two games in the whole series I haven't played. The other being Four Swords Adventures, but it kinda doesn't appeal.

I want to get both Paper Marios I don't have since I've played the Mario and Luigi trilogy, and greatly enjoy them. I have the original Paper Mario on Virtual Console that I'm waiting to start playing.

As for Gale of Darkness, it does use a modified Colosseum system, which is a major improvement on a game I already really enjoy. I've played them both, and now I want to own them for myself.

Currently enjoying the Diablo III beta (and anxiously awaiting the full release). Also in play is Disgaea 4 (both EN and JP).

I also play Warcraft. My little sister got me playing it a few years ago. Bleah. Console, PS3, PSP, DSs....have quite a few games, actually. More than anyone could ever play.

How is that, by the way? I used to play D2 religiously, and I wanna know if I should get D3 or not. I haven't really looked up anything on it in, like... a year, so I dunno much of what's going on in it.

Personally, I think it's freaking awesome. Graphics and everything else have been completely redone and now everything looks so smooth in 1080 x 1920. As far as game play, you pick up and complete quests from towns, much like you did in D2. Good ol waypoints, exploding zombie guts and brains flying all over the place...

There's a blacksmithing function in game now, where you break down items into raw materials and use them to make new awesomesauce. Gold, stash space, and your blacksmith recepies are available to all characters on your account. Which makes it a little easier to gear up and level up a new character class.

As for leveling characters, you gain new abilities every level or two and each of the classes in the game has a different attribute they work off of (eg: barbarians need to generate rage to execute some attacks, wizards use arcane power, etc). You can only have a set number of abilites readily available at any given time, which increases with level. But you can swap out active abilities whenever you're in town and for free.

They've done quite a bit with it since D2. And to boot, Deckard Cain is still alive and kicking! If there's anything more specific you wanted to know, just ask.

Team Fortress 2. What else is there to play? ;)

Dungeons of Dredmor had me hooked recently. It's a very nice indie roguelike, with elements that should appeal to both hardore Nethack players and more casual roguelike (Diablo) players. Unlike Nethack though, it's easy to learn but still hard to master. And make sure to play on hardcore mode if you're a real man.

I give the game enough time that I learned the base mechanics, this can sometimes take a bit for a game to get interesting especially if the whole early game is a glorified tutorial. I'm not a fan of Final Fantasy games though, or Square RPG's in general. I generally play games for their game mechanics more than story so most roleplaying games are admittedly lost on me, though Earthbound/Mother series is a major exception. And a good story is still memorable for me in a game (see Bioshock).

Well there are a (few) people using their monitor in portrait mode ;) (flip it to the side, then flip the monitor within the control panel of the graphics card).

I do that at work for my work e-mail. I can see how that would useful for DIII.

Heh, seems like many games these days are adding in blacksmithing feature. Oh well, I don't mind, I always like having more layers to a game and more way to get items than just "Oh God I hope this guy drops something good".

Huh. That sounds like they added in the whole WoW deal, where not everyone has a mana-bar, but some other kind of bar (Warriors having rage, same deal). I guess that's fine, if I didn't expect WoW aspects to move into D3 I'd have to be insane. And hey, I enjoyed WoW, so I'm not really complaining. Also, as for the ability swapping, I guess I can't be against that either because, well, it's not like I used all my old abilities ANYWAY. I'd just buy a few or get multiples that I don't need so I can finish the skill tree.

Indeed. I have a widescreen LED monitor using HDMI inputs. So my default resolution is 1920 x 1080p widescreen mode. Pretty sweet for all the gaming/video addictions!

Marzen: Yeah, it did have a bit of a WoW feel to it...but then again, it is a Blizzard product. I'll have to hook up with ya in game when its released.

Starcraft 2.

I got beta keys for the CBT of Ragnarok 2: LotS but didn't ever go on in time before it closed to foreigners.

And I keep telling myself I'm going to play Dragon Nest again. Hasn't happened though.

I have a lot of games that I want to play (and have to install first, on very slow internet) off of Steam, which should take me up to a few months to complete while balancing work and a social life.

Right now though, casually playing Star Wars: The Old Republic on Rakata Mind Prison while playing Starcraft II with Nick and, lately, Alteridos.

Off of Steam, I've been playing Orcs Must Die!, Tropico 4 and Bastion. The first 2 are great games so far, but I'm not sure about Bastion as I've just started.
