acs.php was programmed to ignore certain forums, and easy mode is basically "turn off ignore mode".

No forums should be ignored now though, so that option is now pointless.

I remember this argument generally gets brought out when an ACS is proposed, but I don't know if it ever really happened to such a degree? After all, it'll probably lose most of its novelty pretty quickly. (Of course, there is the question whether the "badge" system proposed for this site will lend enough importance to the ACS, assuming badges are given to winners... as usually in my experience monthly wins are otherwise quickly forgotten)

As for the Legion quote, I guess the point is to sound ridiculous, but it sounds reasonable enough to me. :P

I'm thinking that badges for everyone month might be much. The way the system is planned you can make one badge "KCS 2012" and give it a variable of month. Possibly even more advanced. However I am wondering if a "best of 3 months" for the badge may be better. It's kind of difficult to know just how it's going to go until we get it going.

From what I've seen, usually the fun introduced by it usually balances out the amount of extra posts. Every site is different, so if it gets too bad here we could always make a change.

Edit: Colin said he won't be able to manage more than one ACS at this time. So I'm going to be looking for someone to fill the role. :)
