That's pretty neat something so old would work on here.

Seems that I correctly guessed who made the thread by only looking at the title :P

..

I need to bring back the NT 3.51 VM with Firefox 2, though it tends to not work at all when running on this laptop.

You may or may not be able to recognize where I stole this grid background from.

Heh, even Firefox 10 from 2013 has issues on the modern Internet... thankfully Windows 2000 now has newer options (Firefox 52 ESR and KernelEx, a special Pale Moon build, etc. :D)

I have internet on my 286, I'd like to try to post here from it at some point.

Last time I tried to run Arachne it didn't work, but I could cheat and use elinks over telnet.

With KernelEx and some other stuff you can probably get 2.49.4 to work. There's also K-Meleon running on a slightly outdated ver of Goanna for W2K.

There's a build of Pale Moon 26.5 for Windows 2000. I haven't personally tried it, but it looks promising.

So... does this mean the fact that I'm typing this from Chrome on Windows 7 mean I'm inferior to all you retro dudes? >_>
