Where do you work right now? Also, where have you worked in the past?

I've worked at tons of other jobs and trades but apparently I've got a knack for talking to people so about 5-6 years of my working days have been spent in retail. I work at a closeout store called Big Lots. I have no complaints with it, except it being, you know, retail.

I did volunteer work last year with seniors and shit. also in my past life as a child I did shoveling in the winter for $5.

My part-time job I'm going to start trying to get will be either in the mall somewhere, a Tim Hortons or even the Frenchies down the road. however that would just be for making quick money and stuff as a teen, my actual full-time job I would want is Video-Game Designing or strollin' the roads in uniform.

I'm a math tutor at a community college.

If I can ever get into graduate school, I'd like to become a teacher.

Just like my dad. He's also a Math tutor for a community college. Bunch of events and stuff he goes too. He can't actually work, his body doesn't agree with it. Plus the doctors put him on retirement.

The term you're looking for is "disability."

I'm a graduate student TA.

In the past I've been a paid intern at a telecommunications company, and before that an unpaid intern at the state government.

I work at Travel Centers of America as a cashier in the travel store and gas station, graveyard shift.

The job sucks more often than not, because of how bad my ankle starts to hurt after I've been standing and running around for hours on end.

Before this, I worked at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, also as a cashier. That job was flat out boring...

Gee, seems like I'm wasting my degree. I spent thousands of dollars on professional training I can't even fucking use.

I haven't been able to work for quite some time. As much as I'd like to, life and college are stressful enough. hehe

1. Burger King: Not bad for my first job and I left shortly after I graduated.

2. Regal Cinemas: Started out as a regular employee and then ended up being a projection manager. Fun shit. I used to play Final Fantasy 6 and rollerblade while working in the booth. I miss that place, but the boss was a dick and I eventually left.

3. Wolfgang Puck: Started out as a regular employee, ended up working in the pastry section and later learned how to make pizza, salads, sandwiches and so on. Also ended up on management staff.

4. GameStop: I knew someone who worked there and that helped me to get in. Ended up being a store manager but some crap with inventory happened and I was the first to let go.

5. I now work in hell, also know as Seminole Casino at Coconut Creek in a buffet called Fresh Harvest: So yea, I don't want to talk about it but I am working towards finding a way out.

6. I write for The Game Fanatics and I'm also an editor. I do not get paid for this, but I do get free games to review and I got to go to PAX. It also gives me good experience and the chance to look for paying jobs in this field.

7. Working to get my first book published. I don't get paid to write, but I hope I eventually will and it will allow me to quit job #5.

I haven't been able to get a job. Nobody wants me because I have no experience. I can't get experience because no one wants me.

Fuck jobs.

The closest I had to a job was being a Librarian's Assistant at my highschool. I was pretty much THE guy they went to to do ANYTHING. I ran errands around the school, I shelved the books (including ones the other assistants refused to shelve, despite it being their job), and helped overtime to categorize and check if all the books were there. I tried getting a job at the local library and GUESS WHAT. THEY DIDN'T WANT ME EITHER.

Fuck jobs.

I was briefly a library aide in middle school. Mostly I shelved books and put them in order.

I found it rather fun, actually ^_^

Been at Staples since December 2009, probably my favorite job I've had so far :) (I've mainly worked in electronics and game retail, including a locally-owned game store and a Play-N-Trade that sadly closed :()

Lets see..

I currently work for a state university in Ohio. I work for the "Auxiliary Enterprises" division as what they used to call a "departmental tech". This means in the department I am the go to guy for any computer issues or questions. In reality I am a jack-of-all-trades with computer support, software installation, reimaging of computers, manage the webset for the departments, manage POS equipment (point of sale, not the other one ;)) off campus merchant support, digital display board management, database and server management, oh you get the idea.. lol :)

I have my own office (with a window!), but I spend a lot of time going all over campus. I really enjoy the job :)

Before than I was a COOP/Paid Intern for the University-wide IT department. The job was similar with the exception of overall scope of who I would work with.

... and a long long long time before that in 2001 (Acmlm's I1 era) I had a job at the local library shelving books, and packing away books to be sent out. :)

Active duty military since 1997.
My specialty is to service aircraft/aircrew safety equipment such as: oxygen systems, helmets, life rafts, survival kits and vests (with a wide variety of survival components), emergency radios, night vision devices, chemical defense ensembles, parachutes, etc etc.

In my current unit, my primary job is packing/rigging personnel parachutes all day long. :p

This is my brother's business he calls me when he needs me. Other than that it's hard to look for work in NY still, I'm hoping to work with him part/full time once I settle in NJ. ^_^
