Well that's the big difficulty with text based communication. You can't see any inflections and have to go by your own guide. Colloquialisms don't help either as a lot of phrases used on the internet are negative phrases used to indicate the inverse.

If all else fails you could ask the other person if it was sarcastic. If they are a dick to you than.. well you can proceed how you feelings dictate.

Actually the first 'root like' level was in 1.A something. It wasn't a true root, just protection from being removed. Kawa and ABXD solidified the concept before it showed up in 2.5+. Acmlmistrator eh?

Hmm? Did I get it wrong? I know that ||bass/FreeDOS implemented protection based on either a sex value or a pow level thus giving owners protection. (They could have done the old style if $user == 1 set $pow == 3 bit that Acmlm and I had for a while though. Though I wasn't around during this time so my information is second hand. I didn't read the code all that long for this period either...

Any kind of owners protection is in the same line, but not nearly as advanced as a true root which was spec'd out during ABXD in the Acmlm world.

So with the full thoughts of my reasoning, what was it that I got wrong?

I've never worked with Moai-kun, however I have worked with SMW a long time ago.

Flash does indeed blow the proverbial electrostatic 'chunks'. I am not liking how we're still have the same BetaMax war over and over again with formats.

APNG works on Mozilla, but WebM works on Chrome/Webkit, and so on. We don't need any more artificial barriers. (Corporations suck).

I've been stung many times.

As for bugs being attracted to you, sometimes it's just the chemistry of your sweat that attracts them. For mosquitoes I think it could even be blood type as well.

I'll be getting one as soon as SSBWiiU is out. I also will be grabbing the DS version as well.

Ohio has a pedestrian right-of-way law. Even if j-walking if it's ped v. car the car is always at fault (now if it was only true for the drive operating said car.. j/k)

Around the university people just don't care and will do whatever. (Both pedestrian and auto.)
