If you haven't done "I wish this title was a monkey" you have a lot to draw from

For this Splatfest instead of getting up early I stayed up and played with the Oldies. We actually ended up in a few matches together which was fun!



I tried to mix it up and used the .96 Gal. Worked very well.

Overall the ninjas appear to have secured the more populous team award. I only lost about 8 matchs or so total. We'll see if that remains constant over the other players.


The maps where a all ones we've had before. Even though I hate Arrowana Mall I kinda was hoping to see it at night. One Small-Mid Stage and two large ones was interesting.






I spent some time with my alt this evening. It's on team Ninja and I only fought a pirate team once. I played at least over 12 matches..

I'm dead tired so I'm going to leave it there. I'll prob post the results tomorrow.

I did turn on items, but at the lowest spawn setting and only melee weapons, smash balls, and a few support items. if ti works out next time we'll do more of a skills based tourny.

Trap: Tell me how does one use Steam inside of Smash? If you wish to use the internal systems of a game you have to play by it's rules. Also I have a Steam but I don't ever use it so it's just as effect to me.

The "Serious" (ly messed as I made it too fast.) ended and gridatttack got first. Epele was second. Jinx from my Splatoon Squad was Third. I was fourth. Ryan also from my Splatoon Squad and ゼンガー・ゾンボルト was tied for 5th.

I'm open to trying this again with a solid set of rules. A true tourney if you will if you want? Let me know and we can start planning!

Indeed. I figured it out when went back to see who I played with.

Next time it will be 1v1. That was my inexperience with the tourny settings. I'll likely have a few dry runs and such before our next one. Our next one will be a true tourney with some kind of worthless yet brag worthy prize.

So.. the Splatoon squad I have been hanging out with has something I thought I would share with the rest of Kafuka. Dubs (@dubsplus on twitter) a youtube gaming streamer and also a member of the same squad, has been holding weekly Super Mario Maker challenges. They consist of randomly generated theme challenges that have to be completed in one hour. Details:

• The theme will be randomly generated


• Actual building will start at 6:30pm and will go until 7:30pm


• After the hour is up you will upload your level.


• When all the levels are uploaded levels codes will posted in the Discord chat. We will than place each one in order together.

Voice chat is not required, but I would recommend it since we can all give our reactions together. Skill level of the makers varies so don't worry if you feel not as skilled. If you are skilled don't be afraid to think of this as a challenge.. an hour is a short time for elaborate levels!

Since we got a good mix of ROM hackers and Platformer aficionados I wanted to share the challenge with you guys. I hope you'll stop by. It runs most Sundays so if you can't make one there is always next time.

I'm quite the fan of it as you can see by my avatar. I feel in love with it in the second episode. It's still a strong even 6 seasons out. I think season 3 is still my favorite overall season, and I think last years' "Hawk and Chick" might be my current favorite episode overall (at present.)

Funny thing is Seth Macfarline actually likes Bob's Burgers. I don't know about the actual writers. (He checked out of active writing a long ass time ago) In fact it's mentioned in one of the interviews they did for that Simpsons crossover episode.

That said 'Sick burn yo!" Again Macfarline Thinks the show should have been over with a long time ago, but he'll gladly take money forced upon him.

My Squad (Oldies) will be particpating in this weekends big splatoon tournament called "Inkstorm II" I'm not in this one, but still check it out (and the all the big players who are more favored heh.)
