Hello!

I go by "togemet2" around the net and other dark and lonely places.
I'm mainly involved with the preservation side of video games and merchandise. I thought it would be fun to join some forums that I've always had fun lurking around and actually start posting. Looking forward to meeting some new people and overall having fun.

RE: Mobile devices are secondary anyway. Until (if ever) we work out mobile support it's always going to take a back seat and may not get tested. Just keep that in mind. Still point us to any you find and we'll try our best. One of these days we may need to break down for a mobile engine. (But is it worth it.. really? We're not responsive so it'd be a long road)

Firefox for Android didn't really appeal to me when I tried it. Samsung's built-in browser feels much better than it, and I believe it's derived from a chrome-based engine due to native support in Android's code for features.

Firefox for Android is definitely Gecko-based... unlike Firefox for iOS, which is basically useless unless you really like syncing tabs with desktop Firefox.

(iOS browser kinda works but it eats things.. makes it semi unusable at times. Plus the text can be a bit too small for fat fingers.

I've considered going the Android route to avoid Apple's poor design choices; but it seems like all of them just get copied by the Android manufacturers a few years later anyway. (See the disappearance of the headphone jack for a prime example)

Yup. It's all bland now. Not enough diversity with phones. I like the days when people tried to make different phones. (Sad most of them didn't end up being any good however)

I don't have any of my older phones. I kinda give them away when I move on. I used to have a Nokia 7xxx.. the one that opens up and gives you a full keyboard. That was kinda nice.
