Minor version update to 2.5.1.

We reached the following stated goals completed during this minor version cycle:

*Post Radar
*Readd an All Staff sort to the member list
*Using GFX Lib to show Number of new Post on index.php
*Update the FAQ from scratch.
*Fix the bug that shows forum names if they are accessed directly on forum.php via forum ID number.

Now that wasn't all we've done, but those were considered goals. We actually implemented more in the smaller/backend section, plus most of the changes were done before a roadmap was setup.

Changes made in this lastest update:

• In board permissions and group editor.
• more register_global tweaks/fixes
• Moved the badges display to below the RPG stats.
• @Gywall implemented a new birthday system. It should help fix the birthday box showing up days before/later. This feature required everyone's birthdays to be erased. Please check your profiles and re-enter your birthdays. (Please report any issues with this feature in a thread on the development forum if you should find any issues)

Hello all,

In the 2.5.1 update @Gywall has implemented a new system for the user birthdays. This however required a db changes that wouldn't allow us to keep everyone's birthdays. I was looking into conversion but we had less than 40 entries for birthday so I have saved it out but it'll just be faster is everyone fixes theirs than have a script or me manually converting them...

Please review your profile to make sure if yours is missing. (I did update a handful by hand as a test, so if you have one that would be why. )

Thanks for the catch. I've fixed it. Please let us know right away if you see any of those acl errors. (It's part of the system BH built and if you see that kind of error it means we missed something.)

I have a few avatars I've never even used. I make some occasionally. Most are based on my main avatar with different background, however I got some oddball ones in there.

In our costuming group we had a police instructor. We were trying to get a realistic military presence so he actually trained us (roughly/unofficially of course.) I wasn't too bad on target practice.

I don't own any real firearms. I have plenty of movie quality replicas that if I had to I could bluff my way out of some situations if I had no choice. I have a few combat bayonets. I always carry as Swiss army knife and I could always use that in a worse case.

I have zero training or martial arts experience so in close combat without some kind of weapon I'm kinda boned.

However I can also be ridiculously strong when I am agitated. However that's only as good as the objects surrounding me, or where I am in relation to any attacker.

However I am mostly a passive kind of a guy so I avoid those kinds of situations heh.

I don't know of too many songs that have that, however my music is very set in it's ways.

I had a mini-migraine all day at work. It was basically the audio and visual issues without the throbbing headache part. Fun times.

Speaking of trains; there was a derailment on the tracks that run though the campus I work at. A train ran into the back of a stopped one. Luckly all the cars were empty, it was 1:30am, and it was only text to a parking lot and not near any roads.

OOOPS!

Oh common. We're not going to let this go for nothing are we? Pff.. ok.

Character is Shiro from Deadman Wonderland.

Changes:
- Recoloration of hair from white to green.
- Recoloration of collar from silver to yellow.
- Recoloration of the partial head covering thing from rust-to-metal gradient to dark green-to-light green gradient.
- Addition of the "L" insigna upon the partial head covering thing.
- Addition of the red character beneath the left eye.
- Recoloration of the eye from red to purple.

This is kind of a debatable, there is something about Shiro that is kind of the basis for the whole series in a way. "The Wretched Egg".


Glad someone got it. I thought it was going to be too obscure of a reference.

Basically I wanted to have a new avatar since I've had the same one since 2005. I started watching this series when it appeared on Toonami. (As always I runined everything and read the wiki article. ) I basically took a vectorized version and made it comparable to my old avatar.

I would say that I used to be the quietest one in the room. Over the years I've gained confidence to actually be social IRL. What I found is having a sense of humor about things can help.

Wait your turn, say what you want to see with a polite confidence, and know you have the right to speak up... don't let the group think prevent you from doing so. If someone interrupts you keep at it until you get your voice heard.

I've been lucky in that even when I was mostly too shy to ever talk, I could when it was needed speak up, logically, make a valid argument, and I was heard. (Well except with girls I like.. I'm just a total derp. lol)

Confidence. That's the key. (humor too helps) You have the right to express an opinon, do not forget that; do not let someone drowned you out. Do it with politeness and respect. You have to respect others to be respected.

Your outward reflection is based on what you feel on the inside. Start small in your confidence. If you have a bad day, share it with a firend. Talking thing out helps to build the confidence as well.

back when I was testing 7 I used something else...
bcdedit.

When used it I had to basically put it on a flash drive and use the boot DVD to repair it. I did it when I switch drives for boot by reinstalling windows. Maybe it'll work for you? (I only looks quickly but it looks like the docs are good)

Did that get you any success? I've found that bootloader to be finicky in the past..

Oh quite a bit. After my "lost weekend" I spent some on various projects. Long story short ended up running an Acmlmboard. (next time I see you I can give you the longer story). I'm working full time. Man when you work all day you have less time for all those fun little side projects like the old days :/
