I had handheld systems, but I guess I am console/PC vs. handheld kind of person. I did spend a lot of time with Pokémon though.

Who here has looked into, or actually has bought a house?

I'm modest. City or small neighborhood. 2~3 story pre-1940s. It should have a balcony on the second or third floors for sure. Hardwood floors are a plus, as well as tudor or brick. Something I could entertain in, and room for a family if I decide to have one. Updated electrical and such with some rooms made to look the period.

I guess that's the basics. I'm sure I could drill down more. I like the Colonial and Victorian style with the mortise locks on the doors and all that.

I actually am looking at houses now oddly enough. Why I've been MIA this weekend.

Whenever I am inactive it's always I'm busy with real life. That's what is going on with me. You can't speak to other's opinions. Forums of this type are not as common as e many other ways to discuss topics have come up. FB seems to be the preference of a good part of people. Also we are in a world of instant communication. That's why IRC is such a draw.

I'm an older house kind of a guy. I like the style and the charm of it.

As long as people take care of the house of course.

Vegas was the last "non working" vacation. I did have a few cons I went to but it was mostly in a working role as staff. I've not traveled anywhere in over a year.

Marriage is something you should think long and hard on. Make sure the engagement is long enough to make sure you are compatible. It's one of those really big decisions that you need to try to handle objectively.

I've got a lot going on IRL. I am doing some research on getting a house. I found one I really like, and well the idiots left it abandoned for a year. Pipes stolen, hole in the roof with mold, etc. I know a lot of people who fix houses for a living. (They'll help me out too on any house I do get.) So I am trying to figure out if it's even worth a low bid let alone worth buying. They'll let me know as we're looking at that one again this weekend. Repo houses lol. I guess I really like this one enough to give it a second look with all the damage.

I'm also going to look at some other properties that should be in better shape. I won't know until Sat when I see them.

It's just a shame that they let that one house go to crap. (I wanted a fixer upper.. lol)

Life is a series of expenses until you have to work for more credits. Sometimes there is a princess at the end.. sometimes it's just a dead 6' monkey who was named Donkey.

We'll need to get that pixel generator going..

No idea why they don't sell it year round either. I guess it's like candy canes etc. (Candy corn seems to be year round now.. just change the colors to match the season)

I live alone but spend a lot of time in the public. Work + helping my mother on the weekends. (and sometimes plans with friends too). I don't have a girlfriend at the moment, but if/when the time comes I would be more than happy to share my living space. I'm also content with continuing to live by myself too..

I can't multitask, so I avoid it as much as possible. I can get hyper-focused on the topic at hand, but usually I spend equal time with each if I can, or I do with the more urgent things first.

Welp it is still raining. It started on Friday and hasn't really stopped. I had water coming though my apartment's fireplace. Not fun! 40˚F now
