And I'm very happy that my wife is not obsessed with me buying them for her. :D

Finished up the "list", currently doing laundry.

Replaced all the wipers on my wife's car, as well as my car.
Didn't get to mowing, since it decided to rain all weekend. But I'm good with waiting till next Saturday for mowing/weed eating.

Although I was skeptical, I tried out Trel's drop method for the Wii power supply. I gotta say...how in the hell did you figure that out? LOL
I didn't mention in the previous posts, but my wife already had bought a new Wii while I was out of town...when I came back home, it was sitting in the box on the floor in front of the entertainment center, still in the bag. While we probably didn't actually need a new one (since dropping the power supply worked like a charm!), I guess we have one now. At least with the old one working, I can get all my downloaded games and such off of it to back up and transfer to the new one.

EDIT: Fixed a grammar error.

Had a Subway sandwich for lunch, Sweet Onion Teriyaki Chicken with every veggie they have on it. And for dinner...the last of the leftover pasta is already being reheated. Yum!

Back to work today.

Filed my voucher so I can get paid for the trip I just came back from, then spent the rest of the day researching and discovering the joy of my new additional duty (crap I have to take care of in addition to my normal work). Found out that I'm the squadron's new "Self-Inspection Assessment Program Manager". Crap. Oh...and the inspections started today. Lovely. Not exactly what I had in mind for my first day back from the trip.

The evening will be finished off with mindless ROing on 2Dudes.

My birthstone is Sapphire. By tropical zodiac, it's Carnelian.

I was also born a Dragon. Hence the "龍" pendant I've been wearing for over 20 years now. I'm never seen without it, except at work since we can't wear jewely of any sort.

Stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours while on the way to work this morning. Both lanes of the road blocked by an epic accident. 3 ambulances, 2 firetrucks, and a metric butt ton of police on the scene. 4 wreckers showed up. One of the vehicles hauled away was a police car. I'm thinking someone had a pretty shitty morning and is probably going to be hating life for awhile. >.>

So after 2 weeks in the desert at like 5% humidty and not running, I ran 2.2 miles this morning. 94% humidity. Holy crap, I felt like I was swimming in jello. Then the usual work...packing chutes and working on my new additional duty. Very exciting. Time for dinner and RO.

Gundpowder. It would solve quite a number of problems in the world today. Violent crime would probably go down, as victims would at least have a fair chance. Probably would also kind of force people to be in better shape. Kicking someone's ass just to take their money would require effort as opposed to just pulling a gun on them. Yes, I am aware of my occupation and that many other things would be affected, but I think things would be better overall.

Racism and descrimination can go as well. No one benefits in any way. I don't think this needs much explanation.

Not really a whole lot of other things I can think of at the moment that this world would be better off without.

The whole right and wrong thing for me is more of a check against morals. There are a couple of things that are just wrong no matter the reasoning behind it, such as rape and as I mentioned in a different thread, racism and descrimination.

I try to look for the logic in why people did what they did, then make a determination as to whether I think it was a bad call or not. Now there's some things that even if you have a logical reason for doing it, could still be very wrong to me. It really all depends on the situation.

If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around, does it still make a sound?

Big burger burn at lunch for a couple of people leaving our unit. We (our office) did pretty much everything: did the shopping, set up, prepared condiments for said food (burgers and bratwurst), cooked said food, ate drank and were rather merry, cleaned up and put everything away. Had a shop meeting, then left for the day. Not too bad for a Friday.

I currently have just one of the ring tones that comes on virtually every Android phone. Been kind of lazy with uploading new ones and setting up different tones for certain individuals.

One of my coworkers is having a big bash at his place. We're gonna destroy his house. Mwhahahaa. Costume party, must have costume to get in the door. That's the weekend before, on the 31st, we'll have a metric butt ton of candy to hand out. It'll be good times.

Let's see... I have one Hotmail account, a Gmail, and a Yahoo mail. Those have quite a few emails, roughly 2000 between them. Then I have my ISP email, which has 358 emails at the moment. Then there's the age old government work email...I'll just say countless, since I keep almost everything that's sent to me, just in case. If I had to guess (since at work I cannot access much outside of government sites, and I'm obviously not there right now), I've probably got anywhere from 5000 - 6000 emails stored to a .pst folder since they're kind of stingy about server space.

Eh, I'm not really a huge fan...but it does tend to happen from time to time. But similar to Anya's comment: Finish using something, put it back where you got it. Simple concept, right?

People still use ISP E-mails?

I remember back around 2007 I was trying to get service hooked up, and they asked what I would like for my E-mail. They didn't seem to understand that I prefer Web-based mail over this POP stuff.

Eh, it was free with the service and takes like 2 mins to set up. My work email is all exchange POP.

After doing yard work this morning, I'm adding gnats to my list. Little bastards seem to have nowhere else to be but in your face, nose and ears.
