Q: Have you seen my mind?

A: I usually sleep between four and twelve hours... It usually depends on if I'm working that night, or how tired I am after work.

A: I usually take a nap on my days off to readjust my sleep schedule since I work graveyard... I usually only try for two or three hours, but wind up sleeping almost fourteen.

Oh! Another play test I just remembered! I had a really bad start on a match... Like, really bad... I was down three to six and I was about to concede, when I chatted "Hey! You're gonna beat my ass, but I'm gonna make you fight for it!" To which I completely turned it around in the endgame by sweeping half of his team on a fluke and being saved by [Fire-type].

@Scrydan: I LOVE Colosseum and Gale of Darkness. I played them back in college because my roommate had a Gamecube and he bought them for us to play through. I beat them both thoroughly within a few days. They were short, but very very good. Easily my favorite Gen III games.

They were actually my first two Gamecube games I bought when I got my Wii back just before Christmas last year. I haven't played them yet, but I want to eventually do a let's play of them both... But before that I have too many other things on queue.

I enjoyed the double battles, too, it was a nice way to showcase the new format.

What I didn't particularly enjoy were the early battles on Mt Battle in Gale of Darkness (I don't like calling it XD because all I see is the retarded smiley when it's typed out :/) where it was you with two against some poor kid's single Weedle... Hardly fair having Umbreon and Teddiursa ganging up on a worm.

Would you be sad if I retired this thread to the Display Case after about thirty more posts?

My old adapter for my laptop finally died on me today, so I had to go to Radioshack to replace it. It was a whopping $74.19 after sales tax, but I didn't have that in my checking account.

What did I do? I called my bank to set up a transfer of $75 so that I wouldn't get hit with a surcharge for withdrawing from my savings at an ATM. Everything was fine, until they said, "The update to your account will either happen after lunch or after we close tonight." I didn't have time to wait, so I still went to a nearby bank and got hit with a $3 surcharge to withdraw more money than I needed in the first place.

Long story short, I hate my bank and now I need to figure out how to recuperate the money to my savings, on top of the bullshit my dad pulled that set me back in the first place.

Instead of putting in my normal $50 next week, I have to drop a staggering $233 to get where I was. I hate people meddling with my finances.

I was bored this evening, so I decided to sit and try to finish Mega Man 9.

I did... But not without getting nearly wiimote snappingly pissed off at a few segments. The fire laser segment in Wily Castle 1, the anti-gravity segment of Wily Castle 3, and the Bio Devil being the three most annoying parts.

Wily pissed me off a few times, too... What with his second form weakness being Concrete Shot, a weapon that is wasteful of its energy AND necessary to use in the level to avoid taking damage. I used it sparingly and even fought Galaxy Man without it, but I still had to use my M Tank to beat him.

As long as there's a semblance of the Classic GUI, I won't care too much either way. I don't like how the Metro GUI looks or how it appears to operate, though.

As for the loss of the Start menu, I don't really mind, since I never use the Start aside to get to things I pinned there as a shortcut that I didn't want on my desktop.

Nope. Didn't find it worth the time.

The prizes weren't even that great. Sure, it was the mostly unattainable Johto starters with their elemental Hyper Beams, but the just seemed like a bit of a disappointment.

I decided to get a few more PSP games for since my memory card still has a lot of room on it. I downloaded Lord of Arcana, Final Fantasy IV Complete, and Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core.

I started off by testing out Lord of Arcana. It is so very obviously a Square RPG in almost every sense. Item names, your "ultimate spell" is a Summon/Esper/Eidolon/GF/Whatever-the-fuck-you-want-to-call-it, and a few weapon names are all taken from Final Fantasy.

Aside from the shift into being an action RPG as opposed to a turn-based one (which is greatly appreciated), the fact that it controls using the PSP thumb nub is kinda shitty, it's clumsy as all get out because it's so awkward to hold the damn system while using it... Not to mention that the camera is controlled by the D-pad makes minutely changing the camera while moving impossible, so you have to center the camera behind you a la Zelda with L.

Let's not forget the plague of all modern action games... Quick-time events. Let's just hope that for the sake of my faith in SquareEnix that those bastards made it a staple of the battle system that isn't just thrown in for the boss fights. Luckily for me, I'm fairly quick on the reaction, so I didn't see what happened when I fucked up on the tutorial stage's boss.

Speaking of the tutorial stage... This game decided to take the Symphony of the Night approach in that it gave you your character at pretty much the peak of his/her awesomeness factor only to say "HAHA FUCK YOU! BACK TO SQUARE ONE!" shortly after you start getting accustomed to being a juggernaut.

All in all... I think I'll enjoy this one if I can get into it, despite the hardware form factor shortcomings of the PSP.

It started about an hour ago when I was experiencing a keyboard malfunction. The E key was inserting 3s, the T with 7s, O (the letter) with 9s, some keys were doing incorrect funtions, and the Y key was acting as if it was being held down, then some keys, like E, stopped working entirely.

Thinking that maybe it was a driver error, I disabled the keyboard in the device manager, and restarted per the prompt. What happened next was that instead of booting straight into Windows, as per normal, it propted me for which OS to load... With my Windows 7 being my only option... It loaded alright, I guess, but I couldn't log in because my keyboard was disabled, and I couldn't bring up the onscreen keyboard, either...

I shut down and tried to reboot again, only this time... And every time now... All I get is a black screen and the PC speaker screaming a long, broken blare. It does this no matter if I tell it to boot from the hard drive or my recovery disk...

What is wrong? What happened? I'm kinda fucked without my computer! Please help!

Not any hotter than room temperature. I have a box fan that sits behind it, blowing on it as well as me to keep us both cool... I hope that the motherboard didn't melt... I can't afford to replace it, and I won't for quite some time!

I did Mt Battle in Colosseum. I cheesed my way through it with Rayquaza and Mewtwo. It was easy to do, even with both of them being poorly built.
