I have a feeling this is going to be a crock of bullshit. I haven't read the article yet, but I'm just going off of what I know of many of the recent failures "Shits and Googles" has had in the past few years.
I just find this too hard to believe. Everyone doing the prepay so that Google can "decide who deserves rhe service next" is just gonna wind up getting fucked, big time. Those assholes are just going to pocket the money and laugh in everyone's faces. Fuck Google. |

Could this week get ANY FUCKING WORSE?!?
First, my fucking laptop dies; then, a transformer that supplies power behind my friend's house blows in the storm; now, I look over at my TV to look my stuff over to see that my Wii's power indicator light is off, despite there being power to it. I hope to FUCK that it's just the adapter that got overloaded and died, because I can NOT afford to replace the Wii on top of my motherfucking computer. What pisses me off is that it was on a surge protector, so it should have been fine! I fucking hate my life right now. Everything just seems to be going to shit. |

Banks do charge to count and roll change for you, even if you use a machine to do so... That is, unless you're a member of the bank (i.e. Have an account with them). |

I don't see anywhere in this thread directly stating that you would miss this. You also had ample time after I posted the bracket for you to let me know that you weren't able to participate, so this seems to me like a poor excuse to getting out of a battle.
Also, from the way you were talking, you already had the game and had something put together. The bracket will be reformed with @Aesur as my opponent. Hopefully I'll have the round one results gathered by tonight. |

Hokey Gee Willikers! My friend, Jeremy, just brought his Wii and power adapter over for me to troubleshoot mine.
Good news, everyone! SHE LIVES! My Wii is operational! The adapter is what got fucked up in the storm! That is a massive load off of my chest. |

Well, seeing as my battle was refused yesterday, and I received nothing from either Kironide or Marzen about their battle, this is officially dead. Trapster wins with Gywall in second by default because no one else participated.
I started this tournament so that we would actually be doing something with it, and it wouldn't stagnate. Well guess what! Nothing was done with it, and it stagnated. I'm not going to helm something with no interest, so I'm closing this. |

Spent the day playing Zelda 2 for shits and giggles, as well as having had it for Virtual Console for as long as I have, and never played it.
I made it from beginning to just before the Grand Palace within a few hours, which is pretty damn good, considering how bad I am at the game. I probably would have gone as far as to beat it if the path to the Grand Palace wasn't so fucking cheap. I shit you not, I made it to the end of the second scripted battle screen of the lava stretch on my last life, make it all the way through, prepare to negotiate the jump to advance to the cave... Only to have a Moa that wasn't fucking there! come out of nowhere and hit me into the lava I'm trying to jump. Fucking bullshit. |
