I don't like it when people are drunk ): I just automatically think less of them, especially under-aged minors doing it for stupid reasons.

As for games I played, Dwarf Fortress. Currently working on a Castle-Fort called Butterbutters. Currently magmacrabs are constantly climbing up from the magma sea and harassing my people, and my guards can't do shit.

Yes actually. I wasn't directing my "I don't like it" comment at you at all xD It's pretty much GM. And the bragging about it part is the worst thing. Don't brag that you have a problem and are doing something illegal just to have fun or whatever (Honestly I dunno WHY you do it, could be to curb depression, but that's also worse. I suffer from it and I HATE alcohol. Tastes like pisswater). Some every now and then is okay, but often is not, and certainly not a "Look at me I'm drunk I'm awesome whee". But hey, you were drunk, so I can understand why you thought bragging was a good idea.

I thought I saw something about it before, but I can't find it (Didn't look TOO hard but shut up) and it doesn't seem like it shot off so let's do it again?

I'm looking for people who enjoy DF (even if you're not good at it. That makes it more Fun) and would wiling to play a Legacy game. Basically, we play Dwarf Fortress in the span of a game year or two, record what happens (Usually in, like, diary format of one of the dwarves), and post it here. Then you pass the game files along to the next person on the list.

If we're gonna do this we gotta do it right and Fun. I'm thinking.... evil biome? Maybe glacier, maybe something else. All suggestions welcome, I'll be looking for a good place to start on.

I'd post other threads but I can't THINK OF ANY TO POST. Every time I think of one I second guess myself and stop making it.

You don't have to stream or do anything live, it's just a "Whenever you got time, play for one Dorf Fort year" thing. It doesn't have to go at the speed of light, one year per hour thing. It could also just be a few updates at a time, you don't need the FULL year update at once. Hell, monthly updates are perfectly fine! And months go by ridiculously fast.

So unless you really got absolutely no time to play, ya do.

Who here writes poetry? I know at least some of you do. It doesn't have to be the sappy "woe is me" "quoth the raven" dark kinda stuff. I've written poems about cats before. Show us some poetry of your's, and comment on others! Say your mind, speak what you think!


Here's some poetry I wrote last year. I had to do it for a class, but I kinda liked it at the time: We were put into groups of four and were told to write three poems: A limerick, a sonnet, and a villanelle (which Firefox assures me is NOT a word despite it being one). I was the only real writer of the group so I was like "You guys work on the limerick, I'll take a chunk of the villanelle". I did. I completed it in a day. They were still on the limerick. The next day I finished the sonnet, and they still hadn't finished the limerick. Finally the final day, I finished it for them. I don't have the limerick (I didn't really like it at all actually) but I DID like the limerick and the sonnet I wrote. These days I think they're eh, but that's how it always seems to go.

Thank you, KP. First off, don't call someone three years older than you "son". That's incredibly rude and makes you sound like a prick. We are equals, I am not lesser than you so you do not have the right to call me son. Second off, it all tastes like shit to me. Whiskey, beer, wine, rum, it's all crap. It's a waste of time space and money in my opinion and there are way way better things to do than get drunk for the fuck of it.

Also, and it's not "an experiment", either. It might be that but it's also just "I wanna get drunk!" which is, in MY opinion, pathetic. So I'm not a HUGE player of this game, but I play about a game a day. I'm not an addict like some people seem to be ("Hey, I'm on the computer, BETTER PLAY LOL"). Nonetheless, I enjoy it a lot, and find it to be a great time waster. My mains are pretty much Twisted Fate, Teemo, Veigar, and Orianna. I.... play a LOT of champions.
