I don't know, can we maybe agree that so much of something constantly following people everywhere could get very annoying to those who aren't fans of it? The constant pony in your face, the constant "JOIN THE HERD" mentality, and ESPECIALLY the constant "We're here, we're bronies, you'd better deal the fuck with it or get out" mentality, like you don't give two shits about how I feel, you're gonna continue to go against my asking to NOT have every god damn layout be about fucking ponies. It's THAT mentality that's really making me hate ponies, and don't you dare tell me you're not spreading that, cause you were in the post above me. "Well gosh Marzen, that'd be stupid, you should just deal with us and not eat your hat." Well trust me, I've dealt with you all. I've dealt with you EVERYWHERE, and when I come here, I'd rather NOT be assaulted by fucking over sexualized, over inflated PONY ASS. It is getting VERY old, VERY annoying, and I will eat THREE HATS if it will stop. And trust me, I got three hats. They're all fedoras.

I dunno, down here we're getting very very hot weather. It was consistently in the 90s in ALL of the US a week or so ago, and it's been 100 here for a while. The rain cooled it down, though; it rained a LOT. Several trees went down, a few people got struck by lightning, and it cooled down the air just a bit.

But seriously, we talked about anime that are being made into movies the other day. It has been announced that the game Deus Ex is also getting a movie, any thoughts?

Yeah, I heard lots of game movies and things are coming out... Deus Ex being one of em. I expect it to be shit, most game movies are. I'm not even gonna bother seeing it though (I've never been a fan per se of Deus Ex. Never played a game, myself).



D'ya enjoy any other card games than Freecell?

Oh yeah, I love card games! Used to just sit around with buddies on camp outs and play card games for hours. Spades, Hearts, War, you name it, we played it. My favorite's always been ERS, though (That's Egyptian Rat Screw, or Slapjack for some). You each play cards face up really quickly until there's either a double (like a 2 then a 2), or a sandwich (2 then a 5 then a 2), then you slap the cards to pull them in and shuffle em into your hand. The person who doesn't run out of cards wins. It can lead to some long and hectic games.

I used to be the same way, too (still am on occasion, but you can't always get rid of a passive personality). I'd talk and people'd talk over me, and I couldn't but into a conversation or a situation, even if I absolutely NEEDED to.

I've noticed in my case a lot of it seems to be from my tone of voice; I tend to speak very quietly in such a way that is easily ignored, so maybe a way to get more attention would be to try and speak louder?

I find this worked for me. I talk much more assertively and louder now, and actually, I blame that tone of voice on Let's Playing. I basically PRACTICED louder and... I'd say "alive" speaking to myself, for the internet. It actually helped quite a bit, you'd be surprise. I'm not saying you need to sit in your room and practice into the mic speaking, that sounds silly, but speaking a little more assertively will help. Of course, not TOO assertive now, but that goes without saying.

"GIVE ME SOME FUCKING SERVICE" will not get you far.

I found coding usually is, but I am exceptionally inept at it.


I'm about to be heading out to hang with friends for the rest of the day so I'm feeling a little anxious. I tend to over think things, especially when it comes to other people. It's a few people I don't know as well either, so that certainly doesn't help.

Smooth Jazz. Say what you will (people seem to insult Jazz a lot ), but Jazz is my favorite form of music. It's just so... ENJOYABLE. This particular song is really relaxing, it's helpin' me out right now.

Really? I've never heard someone call Janna OP before, I'll be honest. I haven't thought of it, either, since I consider Soraka to be the more OP support champ.

I've been using different champs recently. I'm trying to branch myself out and become good at a wide selection of champs and play styles. I mostly go mid, I'm best there, but I can do pretty much everything now (except Jungling. FUCK Jungling. Nautilus is a good Junger, but not with me at the helm, I can assure you of that). Been playing some Ahri recently cause of that hot new skin.

Anyone here try out Source Film Maker? I've been messing around with it recently and it, uh.... yeah. It is fucking confusing. I think I'm not gonna bother...

I've been jumping around games. I finally finished Mass Effect 3, and I didn't actually mind the ending. I chose the "Green" ending, for lack of a less spoilery description. Then again, I waited for the extended cut, which was EXCEPTIONALLY better might I add.

I did everything almost perfectly except for at the very end, with that last Paragon choice for the Illusive Man. I guess I just wasn't as paragonny as I thought.

What's the shortest 100% timed run you've done on a Metroid game?

I did a 100% run of the original NES metroid a while ago. I didn't exactly time it, but I got Samus to take her clothes off, so it was around an hour I believe? Not bad.

Also it was on the actual NES so no emulation save state bull, real ol' fashioned gaming at its finest.

Dad took us out to lunch suddenly today. It was nice, and delicious, but he took us out to let us know about an operation he's having on Wednesday. He tested maybe for colon cancer, so they're gonna find out. We have no history of cancer in the family, but there's always chances for it to start here.

I'm really worried, but there's a billion other things it could also be.

This is the second time ants have just INFESTED my computer. I've been flicking at them for fifteen minutes now and there's STILL some crawling out of it! Not ON it, IN it. I have no idea what's inside my computer but it'd better be damn tasty, cause they're gonna die as soon as I see them.
