Well I'll be 100% honest, I really don't want anything to do with Linux. It really intimidates me. I'd rather not use Linux in any way or form.

Well yeah I assumed internet would be the best way to get it, but do I have to use torrents? The college internet blocks torrents from working, which is another reason why I'm skeptical to using em.



I've googled and searched everywhere, and all I've found is this same Ethernet drive for my computer. It's an Inspiron N5110, and apparently I need the "Dell Inspiron N5110 Notebook Realtek RTL8105E-VB LAN Driver A00". I've downloaded a few copies of this, they're all the same. They unzip the files to a location and then install the driver, but nothing shows up in the Device Manager. It DOES show up, however, in the add/remove programs list.

I know this is all opinion, but I'd like to know your reasons for your opinions: Why do you rate FF8, a game I consider greatly inferior to the others in the series, lower than some that are considered the best? FF9 in particular. Any particular reason, or is it just a personal "I just do" thing?

I'll probably be the only one to say this, and that's fine. I like being original.

In all seriousness though, he's an amazing character. I LOVE his design, his personality, his quotes, his playstyle, he's just overall amazing. I wish they had done MORE with him. He was pretty much the only reason I continued to play FF7 for as long as I did.

I don't have any good controllers. The one I DO have is pretty damn crappy (the joystick is slippery and doesn't react well, it's hard to explain), and that can only be used on consoles like the SNES and down. Which is fine, most of my emulation is that, but when I wanna do PS1 games...... Aaaaaaaaaaagh.

I usually have wasd as the left joystick/main movement controls (sometimes I change em for different games), the arrow keys for the right joystick/camera controls, and z, x, c, v for the a/b/x/y buttons. q and e are L and R. R is Z.

It's.... it's shit. BUT I PLAY EM ANYWAY.

Unskippable cutscenes is a sin punishable by me yelling at you.

The worst offender I can think of is Kingdom Hearts. I nearly gave up at that fight with your angsty best friend turned traitor near the end of the game. I seriously watched that cutscene twenty times. If you started it up I could probably recite it by heart.

The URoG are currently trying to increase infrastructure. Roads and a few small villages have started to crop up on the outskirts of their territory, and with this exploration, rivers have been discovered. They are helping to irrigate the small farms currently set up.

As no one is nearby, URoG is not sending out any messages to the other nations at this time, and is just sitting around playing vidja games.

Favorite, probably forest. I do love me some fire, though. Most pain in the ass, tied with Water and Spirit. I LOVE the feel of the Spirit though, so I'mma say water. Honestly I don't even mind Water that much, since I've played it enough times I can speed through it.

And what is your overall favorite Temple of all time in any Zelda game?

That is a VERY hard question. I'mma just say Catfish's Maw from Link's Awakening.

My favorite Zelda game is 3D, but that's less because it's 3D and more because of the feel of the whole thing. I'll say 2D, because most of the best ones are 2D.

.......Now if we're talking about Majora's Mask, THE GREAT BAY TEMPLE ANNOYS ME. It's the biggest offender of all the dungeons in Zelda. Its boss is annoying, its layout is confusing and annoying, it's just a flat out annoying temple.

And yet Majora's Mask is still my favorite Zelda game. Funny how that works out.

I have troubles sleeping sometimes, too. Insomnia and the like. It's gotten much better these days, but a few nights ago I stayed up staring at the ceiling for a few hours.

And I am always ALWAYS exhausted. I hate taking naps but I always have to.

Yeah well I'm dumb. I dunno, it's just annoying and confusing to me, but I'm the kinda guy who's like "15 FAIRIES? SCREW THAT I'LL GRAB EM LATER" and I never do cause I'm lazy. And this is the kind of thread I love. I love philosophy. I especially love philosophy based on "good vs evil".

Now then. I ALWAYS look at everything from all conceivable angles, which can make coming up with a definitive reason for something being good or evil rather impossible. Even rape, RAPE of all things, has had a compelling story to explain why it was necessary (Only one I've ever found was in Dominic Deegan. She was gonna die otherwise), but of course, morality does not need to have any reason. It shouldn't bow to logic, and often does NOT. WHY is it morally wrong to kill another person? It just is.

As for that, there is only one "unforgivable" sin in my opinion, that I can currently think of (kinda tired), that basically will make me hate you no matter what. If you rape anyone, I WILL NOT LIKE YOU. Kinda obvious.

Lesser, but still incredibly evil sins, are as follows: Murder, flat out hatred for another person with intent to destroy that person, Bigotry with lack of reason (Like, I'd ask someone "Why do 'fags' need to go to hell?" "CAUSE THEY DO". That is stupid.)

And the things that I think are wrong and we should rid ourselves of: All the seven sins, hypocrisy, lack of submitting to logic, drugs....

If I'm missing something and I think of something later, I'll add it in. But yeah, I'd like to discuss this all with you guys cause I love this kinda realm of thinking

Ever heard of the Candiru catfish? It lives in the Amazon River and really loves the smell of pee. I have never met one in real life. I am very lucky to not have, because just the THOUGHT OF THIS GUY is causing my lower extremities pain. He climbs up your pee stream and into the urethra, where he becomes parasitic. HE GOES INSIDE THE PENIS.
