Post a bunch and have fun!
There's a truck parked near where the S. S. Kafuka is docked... If you use STRENGTH you might be able to find a Pokeball with a legendary Pokemon in it..!
Anyway, welcome to drydock!
I don't need strength to move rocks, IM POWERFUL.
but yes seriously thank you for the warm introductions.
This is my hack of Zelda 3 link to the past and will be a complete overhaul of the game. As the title implies it is meant to be a spiritual sequel to the Zelda games on gameboy! Yes, I chose Zelda3 on purpose and not the oracle games to hack.
It shares many similarities with the oracle games such as overworld style, story relations, dungeon scheme, bosses, and much more hidden things. It's been in development for about 6 months now and I've made it rather far I think. A lot of it has been small things to fix the game but now I'm really making progress.
I'll spare the random crap but here's what I got! Some of these screenshots were taken in the original LttP so don't worry, it's in the game.
I saw Monsters University recently. For a kids movie the message in that movie was really off. It basically just said you don't need to go to college to be successful lol.
Also there were like 4 instances of it stringing the plot on longer than it needed to be. Just end it at the good part.
So I figured I'd make this thread since Pokemon X and Y are the most connected games in the whole series! It's easier than ever to battle and trade with others now so here's a thread for any battling, trading or discussion of the game.
3DS: 2492-4610-0457
Here's my 3DS friend code, right now I'm trying to Masuda Method hatch a shiny goomy so I can't battle but I should warn you when I'm ready I'm pretty competitive!
I don't have any shinies to offer to trade but I have a few pokemon like honedge and goomy with good natures and IVs from breeding
This is actually kind of a request, can anyone take this logo an old friend of mine made years back and redesign it without the hat and the snowflakes?
I have a handful of above average honedges however they are brave nature since I preferred that for mine, I think it'd be better with aegislah's ability. However I can try to breed for an adamant and improve the IVs at the same time with based destiny knot. It'd be great to get a protean froakie
I'm actually using a japanese goomy for my masuda method but if i should try to get my hands on a jap ditto soon and maybe i can give one away if i get more than one.
Ive actually known about this board for awhile because of rom hacking but just recently i got real interested in the history of acmlm and decided to register.
Well I'm about halfway done with the overworld. Thats just the hardest and most tedious part.
After that dungeons and story and eventually ill probably do beta testing stage. So I'd say I've got within a year of hard work left.
And no I'd love if people did Let's Plays I'd watch them all lol
So I figured I'd share the basic story and how the game will play out, since I don't have a lot of outside opinions and I'd like to hear what others think!
Synopsis of gameplay:
Well, since it's a spiritual successor, its going to basically be a sequel to the events at the end of linked oracle games. We already know from OoT that if Twinrova is defeated, Koume and Kotake can return as "ghosts" (halos above their heads, bickering as they are raised up into a column of light, supposedly the afterlife).
It will be set before or after the events of Link's Awakening, as the hand starts and ends with Link at sea, exact whereabouts unknown. After defeating Ganon and leaving Labrynna by boat, the ghosts of Twinrova find Link at sea and harass him, wanting revenge for what he did to their plan. By some power, either by teleporting or forcing his boat there (attack and cause him to drift, magically take control of his boat, etc) Twinrova takes Link to , and strip him of his power and items (if they teleported him, that should be easy enough to explain: he now exists on a different plane of existence; it's not quite real. But that's kind of a cop-out, as that's exactly what Link's Awakening turned out to be).
Twinrova attacks, but Farore, the Oracle of Secrets, intervenes, taking him to the Temple of Secrets. It is revealed to Link that Twinrova has been in control of the tower for generations. It is the source of their power and the reason they cannot die. Destroy the source that resides at the top of the tower, and Twinrova's reign will end. They won't be able to come back any more.
Farore gives you a sword and the key to the first floor (Note: may or may not be an actual key, depending on what I want to use), telling you there is an item of great importance for your journey in there. Enter tower for the first time. Complete first floor. But the room that leads to the second floor has nothing but a locked door and a chest. The chest, however, contains the first item you need: the book of secrets (the game's equivalent to the rod of seasons or Harp of Ages). Teleport back to Farore's chamber. Farore tells you where the first dungeon is, and that it holds what you need to open the second floor. Each dungeon, however is locked by Twinrova. The first unlock spell is the first (and, as of now, only) page of the Book. At the end of each floor is another page. This strategy continues for 8 floors (8 dungeons) to get the key to the 9th floor, the boss battle taking place on the subsequent 10th floor (roof of the tower).
Optional quests and mini games can net you heart pieces, item upgrades, or bottles. I also don't know if what I want the Book of Secrets to have some sort of functional power like the Rod and Harp of the other Oracle games. And potentially get more powerful with each page. Something to think about, I guess.
