Well, there could be optional hidden forum support (ie. public forum not visible through the index page) like in Acmlmboard 1.x.

Since I'm kind of new to PHP, I could only implement a gross and incomplete hack where the index.php page does, well...

$loguser[id] ":'')
                     ." WHERE announce=0 AND f.hidden=0 "
                     ."ORDER BY c.ord,c.id,f.ord,f.id");

And adding in the forums table the column "hidden" that can be set to 0 or 1.

I've tried to get the latest development version of Acmlmboard working on my (for now) localhost Apache server.

After ironing out errors with default values in many places (thanks, SQL), therefore fixing the problem with the users not being able to register, post text not being saved correctly to the database, and adding a gross hack, it seemed nothing would be broken. In fact, it isn't, except for a little detail.

status.php can't create the PNG image.

I made sure the default PHP-GD library (php_gd2.dll) is loaded, however I think the problem could be part of my current PHP/Apache configuration, since it also happens in the other (Acmlmboard 1.96) test board. I don't really know where the problem lies, since the only errors in the log files are about the undefined constants that appear in many other places. Link to the log file.

EDIT: It seems the exp bars are not showing up either

Any ideas?

I just rounded out Wario Land 4 on Wii U Virtual Console.

Cleared it 100% on Normal mode. It was a nice warm up. I may be ready for Hard or S-Hard later on. The only differences between game modes that I'm aware of are escape/boss timers and treasure values.
Actually. Let me throw this one at you. Not only are the escape and boss timers changed, but the locations of enemies and treasures are changed. Some are put in areas hard to reach on normal mode.. or places very easy to overlook.

Addendum:

In Normal Mode could be considered Easy Mode, while Hard Mode is the 'true' normal mode.

Super hard mode is bullshit however. The frog timers are placed in inconvenient places (some at the beginning of the level) and they give you an insanely small amount of time for completing levels?

Want to know how much time they give you to beat the first boss? 15 seconds. It's worth noting I have never managed to beat it while the other two modes are mostly a breeze.

Eh, I remember I used to grind minigame coins and never spending them. Ever.

Also, the final boss is weak to the Black Dog. It deals 8 points of damage.

Oh yes, remember items cost more in the other two modes.
