Posted by skyluigi@"Archer" introduced me to it. Probably via his SMB2 LP, then I joined of my own volition a little while later. Posted by SquidEmpressHm... can't say much on the matter. You ask the tough questions. You should become a political journalist. |

I'm really glad to see this getting the attention it is on Kafuka.
Anyway, I'm going to foot another vote for a blind playthrough of BioShock. I'd also be interested in seeing a series on Donkey Kong 64 and the original Ratchet and Clank trilogy. |

Gotta say, I like what I've seen of the new palettes. Hearing about the addition of the charge beam pulling items toward you is pretty solid, too (Among the hacks I wanted to make was "Super Metroid Prime" -- basic concept is self-explanatory. However, it's way too ambitious for me to even consider attempting any time soon.) I might take a crack at this at a later date. |

Adel has spent most of the past several minutes just... considering something. Space would probably be the biggest issue. Finally, he speaks up after deciding that, hey, this was a good idea after all.
"So, if we can stabilize rifts to and from reasonably specific places... hm. I guess my thought would need considerable space, but maybe we could have sort of a... well, a warp room, I guess. A place where we could have rifts open and stabilized to wherever else we might want. I would imagine, though, that that would take a tremendous amount of energy. And space. "I guess disregard it if someone else already thought of that before." |

Posted by ArcherThat's one way to look at it, yeah, re: the second part. I feel like the short story format would, as stated, at least be more interesting to read. But that might just be me, I dunno. |

Posted by skyluigiI'm gonna go with "The Spanish Inquisition." Because references to that are so overdone that by now, you would expect them. |

Posted by SquidEmpressWell, if you lived in Spain around 1478-1800something and were not a. a Spaniard and b. a Catholic, I think you can rightly say that you were, for certain, expecting the Spanish Inquisition. Additionally, if you've ever seen the Monty Python's Flying Circus episode from which "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition" originates... yeah. |

So, you like The Protomen. Have you ever seen Streets of Fire, which was a major inspiration for the second part of The Father of Death?
(no shame if you haven't; I haven't either) |

Posted by SquidEmpressJeez. We could go on for a while. Since I was reminded of it pretty recently, I am not really a fan of Code Geass. I mean, I guess that that's not really something with a lot of fans anymore, but dear god. |
