(It took two; one to get up into the shell up there the wrong way so that I could haul another up to the top and jump on it) and from there I carefully climbed as far up on the shell as I could and jumped onto the edge of the wall. Several saves later, I was up on the lookout talking to that douchebag. |

I really should work harder at getting the perverted side of me under control.
I keep thinking of all the other ways I could make Nicole purr, but in the interest of tactfulness, I'm not going to say how, only that I need to remember that not only is that wrong, but Nicole would probably attack me and Gywall would probably remove my nuts.

I would go on a rave about how Skyrim and Borderlands are both frickin' awesome in their own rights, but:
1) I'm no good with raves 2) It's less than an hour before the sun rises and "tomorrow" becomes "today" by my logic All I'm gonna say is FUS RO D--and then I took an arrow to the knee. |

You idiot, she's fiddling with them subconsciously because they're directly related to them and their well-being. At least, that was what Natalie figured the deal was with the rings. Whether she was right or not would have to be put down to either an answer or an examination... and she wouldn't be able to put forth an examination without being discovered.

Oh, uh... okay. Like... this?
Billy opens one last portal... "She's here. She is definitely here." "Um, Billy... exactly how do you know this?" Lucia asks. "You haven't even looked in yet." "I only looked in to check out what I'd stumbled upon," Billy responds. "I never said anything, but right before she left, she... gave me... this." He pulls a silver chain out from within his shirt, revealing a familiar sapphire teardrop pendant. The chain it was mounted to had been lengthened with the express purpose of permitting its use as a necklace. "Luminae's soul gem," Billy explains, seeing Lucia's confused look. "She didn't need it any more. So Natalie repurposed it... with her own soul. It's reacting noticeably now. She's definitely here." Lucia is rendered entirely speechless. How long had he been wearing that thing? She couldn't know. "It's been too long," Billy says to himself as he steps through the portal, appearing just outside the Tavern and wasting no time in entering. Within moments, he spots Natalie and hugs her tightly from behind. "Hey, guess who~" --- "...Billy? By the gods, it is you!" Natalie chirps, quite happy to see her favorite apprentice again. "I haven't seen you in two years~..." "Two years?" Lucia asks, a bit confused-sounding. She had just caught up to Billy. "Try ten months, Natalie." "...look, I know you're small on a lot of things, but time?" Natalie says. "I know I haven't seen Billy here in two years," she continues, motioning for him to sit with her. He quickly obliges and Natalie secures him within her wings. "Now, how much time's passed for you may be different from how much time passed for me." Billy just snuggles into Natalie, too distracted by being in her wings to care any more about the conversation going on. |

"I'm not sure about the whole 'can't trace it' thing. Cross-dimensionally, sure, that'd be a little more difficult, but... hm. Do those rings involve the binding of any portion of soul?" |
