Well, when I did see them, they were activated as the train was approaching so I thought they were like wind chimes.

Anyway, would it have been interesting if Nintendo kept the unused train system in Super Mario Sunshine and the train stations had wind chimes that played the SMB1 underground theme?

That would have been neat!

Instead the only train-themed Nintendo game that comes immediately to mind has an unusable control scheme.

I was going to point out that the 2.5.3pre update put "no adult content" in Kafuka's FAQ but Emuz already setup Kafuka's mostly custom FAQ. Wouldn't it be weird if a site that allowed NSFW content as long as it's marked as so and is not spammy had 'do not post anything NSFW' in the rules?

Shouldn't most forums be using a custom FAQ? Seems like the default one should just be a placeholder.

My test board uses the default FAQ. Plus, it's on a free host and free hosts don't allow NSFW content. Although, maybe I'll setup a test board on localhost one day and spam NSFW content all over it.

Of course it is! I mean, if one says that murdering a fetus is okay because life has not begun, then one can say that life never begins so therefore murder is okay.

But the problem is that you're inherently assuming the point that conception is the natural starting-point of life, so any changes from that seem arbitrary to you- but to me birth is the natural starting-point of life, so the point doesn't seem arbitrary.

I mean, to counter your argument I could just as easily say that if we can move the starting point of life arbitrarily early, I might as well say it should be illegal to stop a rapist, because you'd be killing the potential children they could force on their victims. Hopefully you agree that this is a nonsense argument (and I doubt you find it particularly convincing)

If the Sun became a black hole without a supernova, Earth would still orbit the black hole but Mercury would get sucked in and Venus's orbit would be spiral like that of Mercury's.

If it became a black hole with the same mass as the sun, I'd think that it wouldn't affect the orbits very much? Or is this a general-relativistic thing

Yeah, this is just general relativity. But this is a black hole with the same size of the Sun, so it would have a much higher mass since black holes are every dense. But yeah, it wouldn't affect the orbit of satellites (planets, asteroids, comets, etc. but also the man-made machines known as satellites) that much except for anything very close.

Oh, the same size- that's very different than the same mass, I see what you're saying now.

Had an interesting little dream where I could travel through time, though most of the details are now vague. I do remember meeting another girl who I knew in the present in the past and that was important somehow, and then to escape government agents we went to the year 5,000 AD and checked out what the future was like. (It was pretty cool all things considered)

There was also something about an alternate timeline where the Soviet Union occupied Boston and built a military base where the Prudential Center is, but I don't remember how that fit into things.
