Also, I prefer to treat people equally so I'll probably treat her like I've always done. I don't wanna have to change the way I...uh, behave/act just because of the gender of the person I talk to.

It makes it look bad if you happen to like something that's not the norm or common for the respective gender.

I can understand that, but is that the case for you? Well okay, you like purple, but that can't be that bad, or can it?

But well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Of course, if someone told me I couldn't wear jeans because girls only wear dresses and skirts, I'd be rather pissed.
