There are three playable suits in Zero Mission, to my knowledge. The original armor that's supposedly the one from the NES game, the bodysuit that's underneath the armor shown in Marzen's picture that you play with in the stealth segment, and the new armor that you earn at the end of the stealth segment.

There is simply no question about what "Zero Suit" refers to.

The Fusion suit is an entirely different thing.

Except that Marzen's image is rather obviously the playable one. This was never up for debate.
