The salad bar at my college's cafeteria has different items every day to make a salad from. Well, it always has lettuce, cucumbers, carrots etc, but then it sometimes has pasta, pineapple, different kinds of beans, etc. Today, one of the things they had was... Coconut rice balls. I generally avoid desserts, because I don't like things that are too sweet and I also can't eat milk or egg products. But they were so delicious

You petulant child. The word color derives from the old French, "color." It's been used in English as color as long as English has existed. Spelling was variable as a result of lack of spelling reform, so it being standardized as one way or the other can only be considered completely arbitrary whether you go with Johnson or Webster. If you want to fairly accurately transcribe the sound, you could go with the modern French couleur, but you don't, so don't you dare argue something so unbelievably pedantic as regional spelling differences as relegating one to status as a "bumpkin."

Actually that's false. DVORAK was made with ergonomics in mind. So was QWERTY, but the idea was for it to be anti-ergonomic. Typewriters get fucked up and broken if they're perfect ergonomically.

This isn't true, actually. Common misconception, but QWERTY layout is designed specifically so that while typing at a good speed, keystrokes would not hit neighboring typebars at the same speed or in rapid succession. The idea of it being designed to slow down typers to prevent jams is pure anti-QWERTY propaganda. DVORAK may have its advantages but it just isn't significantly better overall. And, frequently using computers in my college's computer lab, I could never hope to succeed in switching to DVORAK for another few years, haha

After an incredibly long PM to Emuz containing an IRC log between Kiyo and myself that took place over two and a half hours, I went into an image editor and applied a cross-fade across the vertical boundary of my background image into a copy of itself in order to get it to wrap gracefully. I can't really demonstrate this here, though.

I'm not sure how I feel about this being the most posted in thread in this forum~
