I've never seen the builtin post-background feature used in a way that didn't require immediate nuking.

Sure, but I propose we make it possible to view who voted which way.

On the contrary, I think both solutions work quite well for their respective problems :)

Ae-See-Em-El-Em is the "proper" pronunciation, though I usually pronounce it "ack-mulm" in my head and "Ace" in speech.

Hm, okay. Let's try this, then. I'm Sukasa, I'm... snippy, and I'm really, really bored. I do in fact have my eyes closed, and I'm... I forgot what I was going to type.

I even lost track of where my fingers were, and managed to reset them without looking. And I'm rather unfamiliar with this keyboard. Well, I guess I'm just practiced. And I'm typing this just to see how well I can type when ramvlinf.

(wow, I typed all of that and had no errors except for that last word...)

So I'm going to be streaming a suicide embark in a few hours, finding the most inhospitable embark location possible and just giving it.

The specific rules are as follows:
  • Livestreamed with an accompanyish Skype conversationg
  • Everyone gets at least one dwarf they can name, anyone who claims an embark dwarf gets input on their skills
  • When the fortress crumbles, we reclaim it
  • We're embarking in a terrifying biome. That means ZOMBIES.
  • One restriction: Only hammerdwarves for the military. Zombies are broken and never stop reviving, so we need to avoid splitting one zombie into many.
  • Dear Armok, no butchers!

Stream will go live from http://www.justin.tv/topkasa, and I will be monitoring the justin.tv chat room, irc://irc.badnik.net/DFDay, and Skype's chat. VOIP will be invite-only, but you can ask for one :)

I'll be starting a skype text-chat shortly, and we'll convert that to VOIP when the main event starts!

Again, anyone who comes onto the justin.tv stream, skype, or badniknet IRC can get a dwarf named for them, and if you join before 11AM GMT-8 you can get a custom embark dwarf!
