My concern with this relates to what ended up happening with I1. Mostly you'll run into images that are no longer stored anywhere. If you look at Acmlm's archive you'll see this clearly. The other big issue is, Bouche doesn't have unlimited space. Another issue was, if someone had a really bad layout.. in this case a broken css or something.. it would need to be cleared out by SQL query. All of these can be solved. Mostly with admin side tools, and a mode for everyone to toggle (current only, or at the time of posting)

I'd like to see what everyone else thinks as well.

I use the sleep only on my Macbook Pro. That's rare too. I disable it on all my windows machines, and usually don't use a Linux distro that has sleep/hibernate default on.

I've found that other than in OSX it ends in failure most of the time. I usually leave my my desktops running all the time locked, or powered off. I just don't see the need on a desktop anyway. (except what Acmlm said.. a power fail situation with a UPS about to be drained.)

Mine is Elk from .hack I edited back in 2005. I replaced the colors and the wave mark to make it as if that was my possible character. I have many variations of it with different background and such since it's sourced from a high res image. (It replaced the one Acmlm made for me back in the old board days. Which was Ludwig von Koopa with a Luigi hat)

There is a bug that allows the posting of a topic without a title. That'll need fixed. lol

Yeah, I think SMB3 is the de facto choice. It's one of them most common ones, and I can't think of too many people who play it. Do we want to start thinking of when we'll start?

I mostly don't watch sports myself. I just never really find it that entertianing. I think it would be more fun to play the sport than it is to watch. I do like watching people play video games, especially the Speed runs. Nice thing about stuff like that, is you can join in. No real way to do that with sports.

It was slightly warmer today. About 26˚F. It's supposed to warm up for a day or so, than crash right back into the teens again. Should make things interesting!

I ported my site's theme to this board, if it interests anyone. It's basically a green night theme with Acmlmboard style.

The background isn't much visible in that screenshot, though. A live demo of the theme is available on my blog where the background should be more visible.

I'm open to any criticism on it. I know it's not much more than a cheap recolor of a standard Acmlmboard theme, with a recolored version of a night background I took from FilterForge. I suck at being original.

Edit- oddities in the screenshot occured when saving the page. Also images are lacking here and there because Firefox decided to ignore them when saving the page

We can close and display case this thread + make newer thread specific to their topics, rename it the "town square" (or something not so copy pasta from board2) + start a introduction thread, or we can just keep going and see how far we can get with this thread in the post count.

Today was warmer: around 38˚F today. The snow and ice are all melting making a slushy mess. It's supposed to rain tonight so could see some localized flooding.

I'm sure there will be eventually. No one is really pushing the board, nor do we have any projects going. Once one (or both) of those things change, I suspect we'll get someone new. Even not random people come by these things all the time.

Yeah, there is both a senate version, and frankly this is something that they will continue to ram though for sometime. The immediate bill is 'on ice' but the idea is still well in play.
