I've updated my Surface pro to 8.1.. and my MBA to 10.9. I've not yet updated my main desktop as I've been too busy to do the post update cleanup. I'm updating my iPhone in a few minutes actually.. also I've changed out my avatar.

Also my desktop has a long a rather long uptime for OSX:

I do remember when I ran linux as my primary.. I had it up for 3 or so months before having to do a kernel update. (though I had a home server last well over 3 years..)

Well at least it's a constant number heh...

Did anyone participate or watch the extra life contests this weekend? DJ Bouche was participating with a few other Acmlmboarders from past and present..

My computer doesn't go to sleep if any sort of media is playing, or if uTorrent is running. If it were my choice, and I wasn't paying for my share of utilities, I'd just leave it on all the time.

I've found it matters little if it's sleep or not. Even though I would never put my computer to sleep. Funny thing I was running two computers at once.. A/C is what gets you on the bill...

Was Sunny with a temp around 45˚F. The leaves all started to dump en mass..

I well.. was a founding member of Acmlm's. I was talking to @Acmlm back when he had a wwwthreads board on overclocked.net. I started talking to him about ROM hacking stuff and we ended up talking a lot. When he started coding a board for fun he linked me to it. So that Xmas I was helping him test the board as he coded... threw out some ideas that became a part of the board as well. So I joined I1 about a minute after @Acmlm. The only one I can think of on this board that was from that initial userbase is @Shroomy. I've been in and out since.

@Gywall - see others do it.. just depends on there time.. and schedule.. and how many monkeys a random zoo has in China..

I took part in the Rooster Teeth event; donated some to them. And when that was over I went to DJ Bouche's stream and donated to him too. I think I'm going to do something next year, it was really fun to just take part in it!

I'd love to actually be a part of a group one like Tony had. I know I couldn't do it alone. The best part of their stream was when the power failed and they used there phones to continue on.

It would have to correlate to something going on at the same time. Like a meet up or a project of some kind. *shrug* otherwise yes it would offset the whole process.

Cancel the parade? Nahh.. We'll force the parade on everyone!

Could almost bet on win place and show.. (well I guess we'd need more people for that.)

Well you know.. they do make "gong bongs". Hell there are more things made into bongs that are made into something a bit more useful. However that's neither here nor there. I'd like to know what kind of search engine it one named "Bong" would bel like.

I'm in Ohio so I guess I'd be close to you as well Trel. Meetups are always difficult since it involves lining up everyone's schedules. The other part is finding a good place to meet that's most central. I would kinda of suggest we do it at something like DragonCon, Otakon, Origins, etc. Some big convention we could get rooms at, and also have some events we could do as a group.
