I notice it a lot, myself. Not just against certain layouts, but against the black background of my theme.
I don't get it, either... The one day a few months ago, Gywall's name looked gray to me. |

Since my mother was overly protective of me, and paranoid of everything, I never really got into anything on the internet until my late teens (back in 2007 to be exact). A few friends got me into Gaia Online, and I derped on that for a few months before growing tired of the commercial whoring and overall immaturity of the community.
I went silent for a while, only playing smalltime online games and the occasional obscure MMO, until January of 2009 when I tried to make a name for myself by doing really bad let's plays on my Youtube channel (just watch my Mega Man X LP... It's really bad), which was when I started going by "Trelior." In mid-July of 2009, I joined Board2 because watching Raocow and Docsigma doing let's plays of Mario hacks sparked my interest in ROM hacking. From there, it's pretty much Acmlmboard history. There aren't many other communities I'm part of anymore. Some lost my interest by being boring, and one banned me because it was run by a bunch of morons, and they didn't like my snarky attitude toward them. Hell, I used to be really good friends with their head admin, until he started being a royal douche (@Aesur knows who I'm talking about). As for non-Kafuka/Acmlmboard things, I'm trying to get back into doing my let's plays (I've only been blathering on about this for a few months now)... And I'm also part of a smalltime let's play group with @Aesur, @Marzen64, and @jay4gamers1 named The Bomberman Orchestra. |

I don't do a whole lot of writing, but I enjoy writing in roleplay scenarios. I've been looking for as group to join that is active and open to a good-but-not-great writer like me that is also not opposed to my word choices, since I have a tendency to use "bad" words.
Egoraptor said it best in his Megaman episode of Sequelitis, "I know you're not a stupid kid, because I say 'fuck' a lot and you're okay with it." The way I see it, they're just words. They're viable words for a vocabulary, and people are overly sensitive about it. It more than mildly pisses me off. That said, I suppose you could say I write for "adults," but I feel that's somewhat of a misnomer since it's more on a level of maturity than an age group. As I said, I prefer to write collaboratively, which is why I volunteered to run the roleplay forum here. That said, I'm having severe writer's block on what to for my story for my characters, which appears to be why the thread has stagnated. I have two characters I plan to bring back in that I haven't written profiles for since I don't know what to do with them yet, which is the reason for my block. Maybe with the combination of the rekindled interest, and the break I'm about to take from here will help me get my thoughts in order so that I can get the ball rolling again. In the meantime, anyone currently involved is more than welcomed to establish themselves into the narrative, and new people are welcomed to join. I really want to see this become something. |

How hard would that be? I don't imagine it'd be much harder than that of stats.php, except on the per-user basis. |

Well, sometimes, it's practiced in RPGs to add multiple pluses to an ability or the like. This was before they decided to just make it +1, +2, etc...
Although, you do still see it in modern games. Take, for instance, the Heart Potion from Skyward Sword. It levels with + into ++. |

That is a pic of my lunch I ate at work at about 4:00 this morning. From right to left: A barbecue beef brisket sandwich, string cheese with beef jerky in it, a Reese's Big Cup peanut butter cup, a Reese's Fast Break candy bar, and the bottle was Dr Pepper. Hooray for three-quarters-of-the-recommended-daily-caloric-intake early morning snacks. I feel fat thinking about that. ._. The upside? It's noon thirty-ish and I'm still not hungry. |

Why do people ask for questions, then disappear for several days, and get questions... Yet, people that are here all the time ask for questions and all they get are anxious crickets? |
