Well, I finished up. It was a pretty disappointing end. Steven was a MAJOR letdown.
The final team, level 70 except for Yoshi who was 71: 
Yoshi, MVP by sweeping the entirety of Doctor Pi's (Steven) team. 
Shellshock, Didn't do a damn thing 
Ballbreakr, Great Pokemon. Very powerful. 
Illuminati, Gets the medal for being the longest survivor of the team. Rt 104 to the end! 
Dori, Surfing in style. 
Skynet, not particularly useful. Casualties: -Dori fell to the Pokemon League's Illumise' DynamicPunch at level 51. I was carrying a Max Revive that went to her on priority of not wanting to lose HM slots. -Hayden the Pinsir, met in Fiery Path, was crushed by a Pelipper's counterattack and was promptlly eaten in the Pokemon League. Poor bastard never saw it coming. Levels 14-50. -Horny the Nidoking, hatched from the Lavaridge Egg, was pummeled to a pulp by a thrashing Golbat. Levels 5-54. The group that's out is still nearby. That's the only reason that we're still in the main thread. After they find what they need, I'll be setting the first mission thread up and the participating characters will be unavailable to the main thread.

Inside the Tavern, Caionna perks a brow at Ech0. She isn't quite sure what to make of this newcomer. She opens her mouth to speak several times during his conversation with Ani, but isn't able to get a word in edgewise.
Noticing the gap in the conversation, she chimes in, "You know, Echo, we do have tap water here." pointing her still-glowing finger at the sink behind the counter. There is a slight strangeness to the chipper of her tone, considering her stormy disappearance earlier. Finally noticing her new runes are still glowing, she deftly motions and makes them dim and blend unnoticeably in with her pale skin tone. With a smile, she adds, "My name is Caionna, by the way. This entire realm is my creation." Pausing thoughtfully for a moment, she says, "As for its name... It doesn't have one yet." With a giggle, she motions to the plaque on the wall with the Latin quote on it, referring to the last two words on the sign, she says, "I guess you could call this the Field of Dreams." -Out in the workshop- Adel's inspection of the artifacts reveals that they are no more than bits and baubles. There isn't much to anything at surface value aside from a very distinct emblem on them. Sapphyre's inspection of the device reveals that it is only partially constructed and not particularly well put together due to missing components. Looking at the blueprints under it reveals that they are the schematics for the device. There is nigh-indecipherable chicken scratch next to arrows on the schematic that appear to be notes about the device. Zissou looks around the room to try and see visible signs of magic protection on anything. His breathing is heavy and deliberate as he focuses. He mutters to himself incoherently as his gaze scans to room. |

Caionna shrugs and says, "Your entrance wasn't very much out of the ordinary. I'm used to wayfarers dropping clumsily in from their home dimensions." With a laugh, she adds, "It's kinda become the norm around here."
She suspiciously raises a brow at Ech0's incredibly familiar tone. "I was just modifying and renewing my protection runes. The glowing is part of the inscription. I'm not going to bore you with the details." She says dismissively. "I don't know what you're talking about with the way I sound," She says distantly, then adds, "There are a few more people here, as well as some that aren't here that should be." Motioning toward the back wall, which is the general direction of Zissou and the others. "As for missing anything... It's difficult to say that you've missed something you're not privy to yet." She says with a shrug. She then tugs at her robe to make sure its doing its job of obfuscating her figure. |

Caionna goes to respond to Ech0, but is cut off by his severe lack of attention span. Shaking her head, she tends to the counter.
Zissou looks at Sapphyre and quips, "You can tell someone is playing a video game while being several hundred feet away? That is quite the curious power you have there." Turning his attention to Adel, he says, "No need to ask Miss Caionna. That emblem is naught but a branding sign. All artificers from our world use their own insignia to denote which workshop made what items. It is both a benefit and a curse in that the identification allows customers to find their shop if they are interested in investing in more items with them, or avoid them in the case of poor workmanship." He then sighs and shakes his head, "You should be able to tell if something is magical by your senses alone, Belgarion." Tapping his staff against the floor, he adds, "You know Zarik well enough by now to know he lacks any and all magical capabilities." Turning toward the door, he makes his way out. "We should have all that we need for Belgarion to cast his location spell. We should return to the others." |

I ordered computer components on Saturday from Newegg and they arrived today.
I was all happy that it finally arrived. That is, I was until I went to start putting it together. Turns out I bought a motherboard with an incompatible CPU socket. The motherboard I bought has an LGA 1150, but my i7 quad core fits LGA 1155. I'm pretty pissed because I can neither afford to return it nor buy the right part for at least two weeks. My day off from work today is basically totally fucking ruined. Between UPS fucking around and saying they stopped by to deliver the package but not knocking loud enough to hear it then taking all goddamn day to swing back around. I also have a 40 pound paperweight sitting on the table with a Bluray burner, 3TB of storage on it, and a 500W power supply in it. |

I played Sonic for an hour, got irritated by the shit design and moved on to Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. I flailed around for a bit, then stopped streaming because of the boring factor. |

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Mario Kart 8's first DLC pack.
In Castlevania, I just got to Castle B and am trying to make my way around it. I keep getting fucked over by the Disc Armors in the Clock Tower because they absolutely shitwreck me by doing 50 damage a pop, and hitting me four times in a row before Juste can even fucking recover. It is nice to finally be properly leveled and not fearing every fucking enemy that breathes on me, because up until I beat the Golem boss, I was so frail that enemies would kill me just by glancing at me. In Mario Kart 8, I've cleared the 50, 100, and 150 for both new circuits. I only need to beat the Triforce Mirror to be done with this game again until May when the Animal Crossing DLC drops. I swear I've missed something in the meantime of playing on v1.3 and the new v3.0 because the AI now has some fucking teeth in the lower difficulties and is fitted with spiked dildos and filed their teeth into serrated points in the higher difficulties. The reason being? I'm getting absolutely inundated with a relentless barrage of weaponry no matter how I play. I have gone from first place with a commanding lead for the first two and a half laps only to get anally destroyed by a blue shell, three red shells, and at least two stray greens IN A FUCKING ROW on the home stretch and ending down in eighth. This is particularly aggravating when I'm on the third or fourth race of the circuit. It's almost like the game is saying "We're not just gonna let you easily have this. We are going to make you piss blood from the kidney shots we're taking a you before we let you have your perfect three-star trophies!" Fuck this game sometimes. |

Could you guys not ping pong so much? It's kinda annoying and hard to keep up with.
Part of the reason I'm hesitating to actually advance the plot because you two seem so content to just faff around. EDIT: I'm also not a fan that you had him respond to what is basically stage instructions in >>78416 because Caionna didn't speak in my post. |

Zissou looks up at the falling golem in the sky above them. "Perhaps we should do something." He says at length, "I fear I do not have an answer to this conundrum that does not involve the destruction of the machine." Scratching his nose, he continues, "We should devise a solution, then make haste in divining the whereabouts of Master Zarik."
Behind the counter, Caionna slowly works at her cleaning. She seems entirely disinterested in the activity of Ani and Ech0, as if distracted by something. |

Just finished Harmony of Dissonance. Sans Boss Rush, of course, because fuck that.
I'm kinda disappointed by the whole Castle B being the harder final boss to unlock with the whole Dracula's remains requirement and all... Only for it to be the fucking downer ending. Fucking Christ, that kinda sucked. EDIT: Turns out there are two more endings that I missed. Almost can't be assed to fulfill the asinine requirements though. |
