Dad took us out to lunch suddenly today. It was nice, and delicious, but he took us out to let us know about an operation he's having on Wednesday. He tested maybe for colon cancer, so they're gonna find out. We have no history of cancer in the family, but there's always chances for it to start here.

I'm really worried, but there's a billion other things it could also be.

That sucks.

On an unrelated note, though, your layout is great.

Well at least someone said something about it, thanks.

And yah, Homestuck is quite awesome. I've been thinking about changing around my layout recently but I'm not too sure. Your layout's quite nice, too.

Have you seen Part 1 or 2 of it?

I have not, no, and I'm not entirely sure what you're even TALKING about.

Also before you post just a post linking me to this, which I KNOW you were about to do, ask a question in it as well. A link to your thing is not a question.

Just did a near full-medal run of Starfox 64 (Played it on the 3DS). I screwed up on Bolse and Venom, by taking too long on killing Starwolf and letting everyone except Falco die. I went this route: Corneria, Sector Y, Katina, Solar, Macbeth, Bolse, Venom. I wanted to get the easier medals out of the way first, and the medium route seems to have some of the easier medals. In the end, 1013 hits, though that STILL didn't beat the high score I've gotten before on this game.

Honestly some gay people are really boring--not because they're gay, but because they're boring people.

I don't think being gay makes you more interesting or special than anyone else.

I fall under this catagory in ways, but it's more of a "I do not see why she is any different because she likes ladies" kinda thing. Some gay people are boring. Some straight people are boring. Some gay people are assholes. Some straight people are assholes.

You should never ever generalize a sexuality, a race, or a gender just because a few you know are like that. I happen to know a few really cool gay people. I also know a few really big assholes. It has nothing to do with their sexuality, it's just how they are.

But I DON'T KNOW, MAYBE I'M WEIRD.

We got this big forest nearby, that's recently become a state park, lots of animals roam around in it. I've been walking around in it a lot recently for health reasons, and I've seen the usual: squirrel, deer, many different kinds of birds, but we also have wild turkeys and coyotes, though I've yet to see coyotes. One of em ate my neighbor's cat, though.

We also have these giant hawks. I don't remember what they're called (it's something with a hyphen... Raptor-hawks? Vulture-hawks? One of those), but they have this GIGANTIC wing span, and they like to hang around my neighborhood for some reason. We've seen one a few times.

Why would you think I would do such a thing?

Because you have done such a thing in the past.

Also, now that Rydia has been banned for a week, I will assume that I will get no questions at all for at least a week. *sighs, and reads the newspaper while sipping coffee*

Why so pessimistic? :(

Because in the past two pages, only one other person has asked me a question. And that was one question by that person. So I assume most people here are not interested in asking me questions. Maybe it's because I identify as a guy, who knows why.

What do you think of Dave: Unite/Synchronize?

I loved it, actually. I'd basically just stopped reading Homestuck for a month and a half.... It was during a time when there was NOTHING BUT LOGS TO READ. I was getting very bored of it. Then I was bored about two days ago, and I decided "Eh I'll catch up"

So I saw the Cherubs, and was like "Huh that's interesting". They'd been spoiled though so it wasn't a big shock. THEN I saw the updates. I'm now kinda back into Homestuck, and I want the next update to pop up.

101 games of Freecell have been completed. The first 101 out of a million.

What in the fuck am I doing with my life?

Maybe you should have just played the Windows version instead, IIRC that only went to 32,000 :P

I am, actually. The Windows 7 version, at least, has a million games. And besides, 32,000 would still take my entire life. This is more of a hobby I guess than a realistic goal. Even after a hundred games of Freecell, I still suck at it. It's rather disconcerting.

I actually like this idea. What's the biggest complaint I hear about Mario (and some other Nintendo series)? "It's the same game every time". Mario and Zelda are the two big hitters of this claim. They claim that there are no changes and we're just playing the same thing with no changes. And yeah the games each have a few new gimmicks, but it's still the same game right?

This is also a gimmick but if they go more WITH it, and add MORE to the game and the game play, I think it can work out well. It just continues to piss me off that some people will NEVER be happy and will whine and complain about things like this anyway. "AAAAA THEY'RE RUINING MARIO AAAA"

To be honest though... I probably won't buy it anyway. I enjoy Mario but I have absolutely no income and I only save the little money I can scrounge up to buy the games that JUMP OUT at me. Or the ones that are on sale. *slinks back off to the Steam Summer Sale*

What flavour do you suspect your hat has?

Hold on, let me see. *reads the tag*

It will taste like polyester mixed with salt due to the sweat that's been infused in it (I wear it a lot). And I say WILL because it looks like ponies are not going away any time soon.

Wow I only just now noticed I said "Dave" instead of "Dirk". I am such a dipshit.

No comment on the dipshit part, but this is not a question.

I've only ever played the first and second quests. I only ever BEAT the first quest (I actually don't care that much for the first Zelda. I consider it one of the least enjoyable in the series, if not the least enjoyable), cause I suck at the game.

I have been playing a shit ton of League of Legends recently. For the past month, it's basically been at LEAST two matches a day. Most of the time it's more like 5-7.

Why do I imagine you as the guy who loses a hat and just grabs another one out a closet full of hats..?

Allow me to show you my hats racks.

These are my fedoras. That's three fedoras (though the one I wear often is more like a trilby, that's the gray one on top), one brown, one black, and one gray. I also have a beige one that was custom made for my great grandfather that I own, but it's so fucking tiny it won't fit on my head. It's kept somewhere safe. I like fedoras.

And these are my "normal" hats. It's quite a few I would think. I don't wear them as often anymore, I wear my fedoras much more commonly, but I still keep em and like em.

That sure is a.. lot of hats.. Just how many is there exactly?

There are exactly 20 hats in my room. Some are duplicates, some are ancient and too small for me, but it's still 20 hats. Ballcaps, visors, trilbies, fedoras, all kinds of hats.
SO MANY HATS, MORE HATS THAN YOUR BODY HAS ROOM FOR.

I kinda collected hats when I was younger. Like, go to a place, buy a hat. I have em from Niagra falls, Tennessee, New Orleans, Sarasota, Maryland.... lots of different places. I lost my Tennessee Aquarium hat though. It used to be my favorite, I wore it every time I went out on hikes and walks.
