I'd be more wary of all ints which are magically converted to floats or become negative because they are too big.

Meh, I started my Internet Adventures™ in mid 2008, and the very first thing I did was to download Firefox (I immediately went "nope" on IE after it crashed on the home page).

It was around Version 3, I think.
