I need to bring back the NT 3.51 VM with Firefox 2, though it tends to not work at all when running on this laptop.

Traditionally it was easily July, because that was the month I went on vacation. Going twice a day to the beach for a full month was great.

Now that those days are long gone, it's kind of difficult. I think I'm going more with December. Coincidentally it's the month of my birthday, but I'm picking it more for the happy fun holiday time, heh.

yeah, when programs crash the screen resolution sometimes does not return to normal

I remember this when playing Speedy Eggbert. there was at least one time (not always though) when the screen resolution did not return to normal if the game crashed (and the game runs at 640x480).

I remember older MAME versions doing the same, which was even worse as back then by default the screen resolution would change to match the game's one. And all of those older games had some pretty low ones... >_>


oh, and the best alias I've heard of the Active Desktop Recovery was "that bright white shit with the button"

Only thing(s) I have? Canon Printer/Scanner + Canon Scanner

the printer in particular is kind of old and has been a frequent source of annoyance for color issues >_>

I still consider snow to be a good thing. But what this also means is that I don't really drive yet, sooo.... >_>

anyway, the temp work of two months just got a three month extension, which is good now that I'm pretty used to it. After those three months pass there will likely be the decision if this becomes a permanent full-time job or not.

More or less this will be remembered as the year I finished school and started working.
And so I lost most of my free time and the :effort: levels increased (oh well).

a bit late, but these two days were definitely good ones, though it's already over now.

of the things that happened, special mention goes to going to a thermal swimming pool for the very first time. kind of weird compared to what I'm used to, but pretty fun nonetheless

It's the same old laptop from 2011! Fun!

KUROKPC

CPU: Intel Core i5 (2.67 GHz, 2 cores)
OS: Windows 7 SP1... after linguishing more than enough with SP0
RAM: 4GB
Storage: 250GB internal HD (+ 2 4TB drives)
Video: One of those old integrated graphics cards. Enough said.
Resolution: 1366x768
Internal Fan: Ain't worth shit
CD Drive: Works half of the time, CD / DVD burning fails

have I mentioned this is basically my main computer?
I'm using this as if it were a desktop, whereas what I should have been doing is actually getting a real desktop

...and possibly one with better specs >_>
