Usually I have to wait for the next train... I live close enough in that I take the subway, so the wait isn't that long... Also, I live near the convergence of three branches, so if one has problems there are two more. (Doesn't help if there are problems in the Central Subway, but hey) The T does close early, but I haven't had a problem with that yet (fingers crossed...)

Back when I lived in the suburbs and had to rely on the commuter rail, my only other option was a long bus ride into Quincy for the nearest subway stop.

Meanwhile, now it's snowing here. It's also really windy- I look out the window and the snow is going horizontal.

Not a lot of people seemed to vote, eh? Maybe they shoulda voted earlier this time. Or the "TOO MANY CATEGORIES" thing was a problem, too. I suggest we go back to the normal categories we had, but throw in a few (five at most) silly ones that fit Summer, and change the wording of some of the others.

I reached the point that I could cover most of the map with the city and consistently make enough money to do stuff... didn't reach the arcology stage, but it's not bad considering I haven't played in nearly 10 years probably

Just caught Pikachu (Green Version), which rounds out my collection of Pikachus.

Funny that the Green Version sprite looks so much better than the Red/Blue Version sprite.

Today I had a dream where this person I know on twitter was coming to Boston; I wanted to buy a soda and had the choice between 7-Eleven and CVS, she insisted on 7-Eleven but they were out of coke so I had to go to the CVS; while walking there I saw more people I knew and we had a discussion about how gas is cheaper in political battleground states and how this is why street-running trains won't be successful.
