I've also heard about people modding Arcade 1up cabinets fairly easily, but I'm not sure if I'd ever go that route.

I've seen those around YouTube as well, some very cool stuff, though in some cases it seems like nothing is left of the original cabinets beyond maybe some of the wood :p

Made a chicken quesadilla with dark meat rather than light meat (thighs, specifically); though I like dark chicken meat on its own, a quesadilla probably wasn't the best use case.

Did Apple require SSE4.1 to block AMD users?

Wouldn't be surprised; but really the whole "business model" of Apple is tightly coupling their software to their specific hardware, so I'd be more surprised if they didn't do processor-specific optimizations that break wider compatibility.

do you like any Apple keyboard?

The Apple IIgs ADB keyboard with the Alps switches is really nice; even if my particular specimen of it is not in great shape. I bet if I were to clean out the switches (and managed to not destroy them, unlike my last attempt to clean Alps-style switches) it'd be worthy of being my main desk keyboard.
