Bel, who of course noticed the cat before, didn't pay it any mind because of more interesting inquiries at that moment.

Bel: Well, I can answer how the bot got turned into a pile of junk but not why it activated in the first place. Or why it was hostile. It involved increasing its weight and well...gravity. And portals. We were just gonna borrow something but the thing attacked as soon as we opened the door to the workshop. Naturally, we had to defend ourselves.

As for Kawa over here, I was just about to ask if you weren't yellow before but it seems Zarik kinda beat me to the punch.

Noticing Caionna zoning out and back in from thought, Bel sort of raises a mental eyebrow. (That's the second or third time in a short while she's done that. Is something wrong? Could be related to that time-freeze.)

Bel turns back to Zarik after taking another swig from his glass of wine.

Bel: How is Aren in trouble?

Bel just sits quietly in the sofa and watches the argument between Moxley and Zarik fly. Then he notices Kawa has suddenly returned. And the change of clothes. (Well, there's a strange combination if I ever saw one.) He turns his attention back to Zarik.

Bel swings the pickaxe over his right shoulder, empties the glass of wine he had sitting on the table and walks towards the portal but before he steps through, he turns to Caionna.

Bel: Maybe you could try to figure out whatever was the cause of that time-freeze. Would be annoying if it were to happen again.

As Zarik and Zissou walks through the portal, Bel begins asking Zarik about details before turning around and noticing their changed physiology.

Bel: Now that everybody's through, what do we...start with? Oh-kay. I didn't know that portal came with a complete overhaul of one's physical appearance. For some reason, I and Moxley remained unchanged, though. Bel says as he scratches his head.

Bel: Heh. Cute ears, Zarik. He says as he covers his mouth with his right hand, hiding a barely noticable chuckle.

Bel: Regarding this Slowfix fella, did he get that name fron what I think? Bel asks as he follows Zarik.
