Posted by Needle Well for the first time in like 6 years I had visited another board I used to go on unregistered for the sole purpose of downloading ROM hacks, since I was very into them at the time, and lo and behold that place is dead as shit now. I had seen mention of kafuka on there, so I joined for a few reasons, but mainly because I wanted some new people to talk to since I like to talk to a decent variety of people. I know we were supposed to lay low, but I had contacted one of the debt collectors to see if we could possibly resolve anything, since I've been brewing up a few get-rich schemes lately. However immediately upon contacting me they had threatened to have some people scouting our area. Now I'm mostly positive that they do not know our address and they're just bluffing, but I'd rather take as few chances as possible right now considering we're now in even more danger than usual. Musically I like a wide range of stuff, while I mostly find myself listening to a wide variety of rock/metal I like a handful of everything really. Another thing in particular I love listening to is video game soundtracks, some of my all-time favorite soundtracks include Earthbound, LISA, Hotline Miami (both games), Super Mario RPG, Persona (pretty much any Persona game), Metal Slug (any game), Final Fantasy (most games), and way too many more. I guess I should probably put my list: Accept Alestorm Black Sabbath Danny Elfman Descendents Gorillaz Guns n' Roses Iron Maiden Less Than Jake Metallica (particularly their 80's and 90's stuff) Mick Gordon Perturbator Queen Rage Against the Machine Reel Big Fish System of a Down Tenacious D Other than that I probably like a few songs from a lot of bands/artists but not enough to put them on that list. Personally I think their 80's albums were better, but one thing I have to give black album credit for is the production and sounds/tones of the instruments are really cool. Production is something I dislike sometimes in their earlier works, like with ...And Justice for All for example. I love that album and it's had some of the band's best work, but the production could have been better. There was actually an interview I watched with the producer/sound mixer for the album, and he talked about how Lars and James literally asked him to butcher the sound of the album. I think it was Lars in particular who made the bass so inaudible in the album, and the producer also admitted he did not like the drum sound of the album which Lars specifically demanded, which is a shame because that album actually had some of their best drumming to me. Posted by Needle I feel there's such a thing as "too good" with graphics, animation and that sorta thing. The later Grand Theft Auto games fall into that category, they're incredibly well animated and have a lot of realism but in comparison to say San Andreas the control is a lot harder to work with due to the controls having to accommodate the realism in the animations and such, with more delay than there previously was in a lot of cases and slower turning when you're driving. ____________________ Giant Paratroopa Affected by 'Wooster Syndrome' ++++!!
