Agreed. I wish there was a +9000 instead of just +1...

Time to get rid of those sucky Acmlmboard spoilers. Another problem of those is that they fail to hide images.

Like most forum systems' spoilers. (by most I mean all except those that don't come with a
tag for whatever reason)

Today was unexpectedly cold. After constant ~10°C, transitioning to 1°C is fun. Especially when you wear a jacket and canvas shoes.

And it is possible that we get snow tomorrow. If snow has to fall tomorrow, I hope it falls before I wake up. Being stuck at home sucks less than being stuck at university. Not to mention that their heating is going smooth because they have to fix issues with it, like really rusty pipes under the roads.

I also hope to not be stuck at home Wednesday, because I'll be having my traffic laws exam.

I remember that once I've seen an ad for Twix candies, where one guy was brushing his shoulder with the candy or something weird, and since then I'd think one could brush himself with such a candy. Good thing I never actually tried.

Sorry but the local Frenchie doesn't know much about English candies and crap. In any case I edited the post, is the more generic 'candy' more acceptable to everyone?

I remember coding that for ABXD. Though, my code is dumb and duplicates the attribute if it's already there. I also think that it marks full board links as external links, not sure though.

Same here. </> are easier to type than [/] on azerty. Also HTML allows for more freedom, like giving your link specific attributes that wouldn't support.

For example, if you put &lt; in a post of yours, and then edit said post, in the form it becomes <.

Quoting a post causes the same bug.

However, newthread/newreply post previews and editprofile forms are fine.

I forgot to mention that the bug also occurs when replying to a PM.

Let your mouse over me

This is one potential advantage of HTML, among others. Also what is so bad about <a href> and security? wait what are you saying? ABXD never filtered <a href>...

Okay, let's just go and nuke one of the great features unique to Acmlmboard for added security. Oh wait, users would find ways to hax the bbcodes. Let's just not allow anything other than plaintext so that we're not running any risk.

Seriously speaking, I'm all for keeping HTML as much open as we can. An Acmlmboard without HTML isn't an Acmlmboard. It's just yet another boring board software.

You clearly know nothing about compilers and parsing. You should really refrain from talking about technical stuff you know nothing about.

YOU do not know me enough to say that kind of stuff. I know what I'm talking about. I have been coding for ABXD since a good while now, in case you don't know.

Also, I don't want 'full' HTML support. I said 'as much as open as we can', which doesn't mean 'full' but 'keep the most features possible while blocking out dangerous stuff'.

Besides, cookie stealing on the AB2 branch is a loss of time unless you know the AES256 key that is used to encrypt them (or atleast that's how it was done on AB2.0a1, it may have changed since then).

I caught Toad. Who told me that the princess is in another castle. Damn.

I also got Goomba, Question block, Bowser, Hammer Bro, Bullet Bill, Tardis, Mother Brain, Rinka, Multiviola, Skree, Memu, Melia, Zebbo, Wave Beam, Energy Tank, Dalek and Monkey.

(I admit having used backspace to get some of them, though)

The same would apply to Jul and NN then.

Also, Dirbaio and Nina are planning on writing their own Acmlmboard-type software.

And, AB3.x? That doesn't even exist!

Oh, I see.

Also, ABXD+ has been discontinued for it turned into an AJAX-abusing piece of shit. ROMHAXOR runs off ABXD 2.2 since a good while now (we never bothered to upgrade further, given how active it is).

SMWC has Acmlmboard style, but there's no mention of it being actually based off Acmlmboard. Also it's much more restrictive on bios and layouts...

Vizzed was bloated with tons of useless crap, making the software look awful. Despite the author's claims that it was mostly rewritten, it's still pretty much Acmlmboard inside.

ZimBoard is a piece of shit based off a really old Acmlmboard version (1.61 or so). They took out any mention of it being Acmlmboard, but it's still Acmlmboard. Passwords are stored in plaintext. The 'security' is done with a shitload of Apache rules. Also the admin crippled the software to help with that, for example new users can only post once per day or so. Removing features is a great way to keep troublecausers out.

I wonder what's so special about the Dev Forum for it to be hidden. Is it about discussing or coding new features of the board? Does it have to be closed because there's topsekrit code in there? I'm curious.

I also wonder who found such a door to be edible. Personally, I don't really like that kind of food.

Though, yesterday I ate a window. It tasted crunchy. But I felt a little full after it.

Yes. Though, don't do that too much. French healthcare says that eating too many windows a day is unhealthy.

You mostly risk a BSoD.

Well, I once had a GSoD after eating too many grass, and it is much worse than a YSoD. You're stuck in that green and all you can do is stare at it until it goes away...
