That's one way of doing it.
Making use a post layout in doing it's kinda risky. What if you do a radical layout change that breaks archived results? The world could always use more heroes! |

Yeah. That's a point.
I think that got removed for the purpose of storing less data in the posts table. Since post layouts will quickly fill up the space.  Although.. they didn't store edits as individual revisions back then either..The world could always use more heroes! |
