I spent a few hours tinting windows around the house. That plus the repair in the basement means that the house isn't unbearably hot. I watched an episode of 24, which inspired my profile picture--it was either that or one from Gattaca--but all in all, today was somewhat productive. Of course, it's only 5pm here so I still have several hours to knock off.
I might as well take a look at that ceiling fan, it was making such a racket earlier. I'm willing to bet it was just a few loose screws. |

Minecraft. I managed to lose my inventory...twice. I found this place surrounded by lava but containing an astounding number of ores. It's been more trouble than it's worth.
Reminds me of that time I got stuck with a diamond sword in a deep cave. I didn't have a pick-axe, so I was only able to exit after what felt like hours of manually breaking blocks. I bet if I played on multiplayer more often, this problem would be solved. |

It's rainy. Very rainy. The clouds came out of nowhere early afternoon and now it's pouring.
It's going to be a rather dull hour on the treadmill. I guess I can try watching something on Netflix while I'm at it, but it still doesn't make it much better. |

I love Sunday nights. They're in some ways my favorite part of the week. I don't sleep through them, of course. I'd rather spend these few hours of tranquil peace doing something I love... like posting, watching television shows, or sometimes just reflecting. They've been a great respite through several hectic and tortuous weeks... but even now when my schedule is free, I still relish the experience of several enjoyable hours intermixed with adrenaline rushes and watching night slowly turn to day. |

Today I didn't do much, really. I spent a bit of time with the family, which actually turned out to be somewhat... fun. It's was awkward at first, but then I realized that I was being treated with more respect than before. In all my struggles to avoid contact with family members who were not my immediate family, I never thought that the experience itself would change. They're alright people, I understand that now. |

It's drizzling right now. It's only partly cloudy and the sun is out, so there might be a rainbow. I haven't seen one of those in quite a while.

I spent the day reviewing some of my textbooks and watching a few TV shows here and there. I reviewed a few chapters of biology, learned a few pages of Java, and drove to the place where I'm planning to reattempt martial arts. I was lazy the rest of the day and just watched whatever I could find on television. |

I'm thinking about dedicating some time towards becoming fluent in a language considering the years I've spent learning one in a classroom setting. It's only an idea, but it seems appealing.
In reality, I'm going to see what's manageable in my schedule after I begin volunteering at this learning center the upcoming week. |
