Goddamn, that's pretty good.

One way I remember which one is the Vatican is that I know the Vatican's in Rome, and Rome is closer to the west coast of Italy. I remember the shape of Kosovo pretty well, too, because it was pictured on the news constantly in the late 90s (there was a conflict there and all), plus it's on their flag.

I remember the Caucasus pretty well, for some reason. I know Armenia's the smallish one that borders Turkey (they have a history of conflict, including the very unfortunate and horrible Armenian genocide), and that Georgia's slightly larger and borders Russia (they had a conflict over South Ossetia in 2008). Then I should theoretically remember Azerbaijan through process of elimination, although I obviously did not when I last took the test >_>

I also remember Myanmar pretty well (it's the one that gets weird and wormy that's not Thailand) partly because of that one Top Gear special where they went there, but also because Myanmar might honestly be the most gorgeous country on Earth.

I started sleeping totally naked recently — I actually hate sleeping naked (although I've hated it less strongly lately, partly because I don't despise my body quite as much anymore), but over the summer with no AC I had no choice or otherwise I'd bake.

But now that it's getting cold again I've had to wear stuff to bed again. It's comfy. I wish I owned some really nice pajamas, pajamas are cute and comfy and nice but I haven't really gotten to wear them much. My parents didn't ever get them for me growing up because they expected I'd just sleep in my underwear... I hated my body growing up so I'd usually just sleep in the same stuff I wore during the day.

Sparks - Thank God It's Not Christmas

I'm really into Sparks lately, they're so much fun. They're not always the most consistent songwriters on God's Green Earth, but their best songs are really, really good. Also I adore Russell Mael's delivery, he prolly grates on most people but I love how he sounds so adorable and giddy and fey and constantly excitable about everything

I think I like Selected Ambient Works Vol. II better than 85-92. These are some good picks, Rambly. Loveless might by my favorite album.
Ahhh thank you! I think I'm biased towards 85-92 cuz it was my first (also I just love Heliosphan and Ageispolis and ofc Xtal way too much) but Vol II is reallllllly good too, I used to not like it but lately I've just been getting lost in it in a really good way

Loveless!!! God, I feel like it's the Obvious /mu/ RYM Hipster Album that everyone likes, so I wanna be all kneejerk reactionary and say it's not that good and whatnot, but the problem is I can't do that because every time I listen to it I realize it's really good and there's not a single weak moment on it. The stretch of songs from When You Sleep to Sometimes is amazingggg and beautiful and also Soon is like, 10/10 song (the repeating almost kinda mantric riff at the end of I Only Said murders me every time I listen to it, it's so gooooood)

I love rain ;_; I wish it'd rain more here but it's just been kinda boring and dry. It was rainy but it seems like nature's just kind of given up on precipitation. I don't have a lot of high hopes that it'll rain much for the rest of the year, either, it's prolly all gonna be snow from here on out...

I'm not a hipster or /mu/ reader.
Neither am I, really. (I haven't read /mu/ since 2012 and that was once and it was just a bunch of idiots jerking Anthony Fantano off and talking about ITAOTS and Low and nothing else. Generally I avoid 4chan like the plague, I just was embedded in a circle of friends who were really into /mu/ and they were stupid as shit)

Second Pokémon. :D

What would your team be?
God, I don't know... assuming I don't have to worry about stats and IVs and things like that and I can just pick based on Pokémon that I'd like to have with me, maybe something like this: Mimikyu, Lugia, Umbreon, Mudsdale, Cloyster, Breloom... something like that. (honorable mentions: Starmie, Muk, Alakazam, Gengar, Charizard, Raichu, Psyduck, Tangela, Omastar, Xatu, Quagsire, Gourgeist)

Worst place in any video game you've ever played?
Um... oh god I was almost going to have to think about it but I just remembered what it is: The Gold Saucer in Final Fantasy 7. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that place.

Best place in any video game you've ever played?
That's a bit harder... I love the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time and the Sacred Forest Meadow, both gameplay wise and aesthetically. Grunty Industries is my favorite part of Banjo-Tooie (a game that has a lot of great parts). Pretty much everything in Rainbow Resort in Kirby's Adventure (pretty much everything in Kirby's Adventure). I really adore Press Garden Zone in Sonic Mania... Skyloft and Faron Woods in Skyward Sword... Monstro Town in Super Mario RPG! God it's adorable! I haven't even gotten to anything in Pokémon yet! Or the fact that the exterior of Shadowlord's Castle in NieR honestly seems pretty chill (no, really)... or the castle in Symphony of the Night, or the atmosphere of upper Crateria in Super Metroid, or (etc)

Who will be the first to 20000 posts? ^_~
Epele. I think her strategy of not overexerting herself with her comfortable lead is gonna pay off. Although 800 posts is still a lot, and your posting rate lately has been pretty high...

Why don't you have a syndrome yet?
It's always been hard for me to get syndromes — I don't like writing low-effort posts or posts that don't have at least something interesting about them. I've only managed to get them during boardwide sprees when there's a lot of people to bounce off of.

Kafuka is legit the most active forum I'm on right now. Second place is Jul. There was another forum I was on that was more active, but it has been rapidly dying (and honestly, good riddance, I hate that place)

I love the way snow looks, it's gorgeous! But holy moly is it exhausting to deal with, especially when you have to deal with it for 6 months in a row every year

I used to rarely see snow, but ever since I moved it has become far more common, natch >_>
