Posted by Nicolynhmmmm uh, probably... you know i'm just learning i don't care about arcade games that much? donkey kong and tapper and centipede are cool and all but i don't find myself yearning to play them on an actual real cabinet it'd probably be some fighting game honestly. something that could actually have depth and keep me entertained and would be worth lugging around if we ever move. probably some arc system works thing, guilty gear or persona 4 arena... actually Posted by Danikawho? |

whether or not we live in a simulation isn't a question that is falsifiable — we have no way to test whether or not we're living in a simulation from our vantage point. i'm personally an atheist and i think the same logic in being an atheist applies here: there's no reason to believe that we live in a simulation for the same reason that there's no reason to believe in a god. i wouldn't say i know for certain that we don't live in a simulation, but i would say that there's no reason to entertain the question too much unless explicit evidence appears somehow.
here's a question that a lot of people that believe we live in a simulation don't really entertain much: why? who would be running a simulation of everything? what are they testing? is it purely for entertainment purposes, or is there a greater purpose there? |

probably Rogue Squadron II on the GameCube, that shit was actually pretty good
Episode I: Racer on the N64 is another surprisingly good game, especially given the source material the SNES ones are supposed to be good but i've never really played them Shadows of the Empire was super cool when it came out but i don't think it's aged extremely well |
