I mean people as in NPCs. Sorry for the confusion. I mean like robbing NPCs who you don't like who try to rip you off. >=)
Don't you hate those shop keepers for not being more generous to heros? Then again, you do go around and loot things in people's houses. |

Yeah, it is set be default to compare the first two parts of the range I believe. I have a similar system that uses sessions like this. Might be going to a new system+ fairly soon. And it may address certain things like this as well.
I've been trying to get things set up to where I can use a schedule that won't get forgotten later on. It has been fairly difficult but I am hoping I keep up with things a bit better than last semester. |

To be honest, everyone could actually always do so. Then there's A+ and A++ and then something secret. The game of A's is always about stepping up.
Then again, at least it isn't to the point some forums don't get posted for like weeks. |

It is not an option of "log in forever" but rather "be less strict about my IP". And the less strict it is, it is generally more of a security risk but there's usually always one in some sense so yeah...
I can't promise anything but you might have that option but you might have to take another annoying pill to swallow instead. So it is almost a game of choose your poison. Would you rather login again or possibly do something more annoying? We are looking into better options and such so this is to be discussed further eventually. Possibly closer than soon. And in other news, I am enjoying my RP on a certain other board. It is just sad that this board's version is like dead. |

Some sites want to make sure that cookie or session is terminated if you forget to logout on public computers. My college is super infamous for having me to login just after 30 minutes of inactivity. 
I DO NOT want that at all and dislike logging in often on dynamic cases. However, my reasons if indirectly for possibly having sessions timed are different. My system has a session table and I have you logged in for about 7 days. Reason behind that are because of the table eventually getting clogged. So each session row has an exp date which will be purged if not used for awhile. How could it get clogged? People can login from different places and different computers. People may forget to logout and clear that session. So it cleans it up for them. I could maybe make it where you can choose between 7 days and a month. There's a lot of situations to think of. You have to make it convenient for users and make the system as clean as possible so your database or users don't hate you. Balance is fun! Although when it comes down to it, balancing a game may be more fun. And then combine it all into an AB RPG, it really becomes a hoot. |

It is just a shame that Banjo-Kazooie never has a REAL Banjo-Threeie.
I heard a rumor that Nintendo is fighting Microsoft over the rights of the IP. Although it was just from a few random things I've seen and I can't find them anymore, hehe. Edit: SEPTEMBER 5 Total amount of posts: 87

Posted by TKB It probably would if a certain company didn't get bought out by Microsoft. Oh well, maybe it has yet to be made. It does sound funny but the second game was named Banjo-Tooie so it would be named Threeie or something like that to keep the spirit of naming. |

I've seen the game played here and there but never got the chance to myself. It also has a little message on the bottom besides the M rating saying "This game is not for anyone under age 17."
Just so people who skip out on reading the rating has a bit better of a chance of noticing it. Although many parents nowadays don't really care and get games like that, haha. My mother back long ago would probably be one of them. Depends though. |

Or "My son is so mature, this game should be okay." But to be honest, ratings are a bit silly for the most part. If a kid wants to play games like that then let them. They are only going to hear that and worse if you give them internet access. XD |

I thought a general discussion thread for themes could be good.
I also like to rebring this thread up while I am at it. But one thing I did want to bring up was some AB1 theme errors! I think there's some wrong or missing classes or something. It doesn't do so for the AB2 ones and I think it is the row2 class whatever it is called. Not sure what it could be exactly but I think they might be missing an important class from AB2. |

I'll be implementing a new system of logining in fairly soon. It will be done by the end of the week with the installer. I will need many of you to test it so we can be sure everything is generating perfectly.
My hope is to make the system as flexible and secure as possible. Might have it where the owner can customize how we wants things setup as in not only randomized salts and such but maybe he can choose what characters he wants to to randomize from. Options are always nice. |
