Some songs from Odyssey by HOME, such as Resonance, Tides and Half Moon

something that isn't VGM, Approaching Nirvana or C418 for once

IE11 was actually decent

I can say that, at the very least, debugging JavaScript on IE11 is not as easy. A few features are unsupported, but most importantly, console.log and specially debugger; don't always return as much information as you'd expect them to.

I'll admit, it was better than I thought, and I have to appreciate how lightweight it is, but it's still not to the same level as Firefox Dev or Chromium. The favorites and the history bar are still clunky because it still tries to integrate itself onto Windows, in an era where that's not really needed anymore.

Though I don't really know if Edge is really any better. I'm waiting until I can buy an SSD to install Windows 10.

It would be nice to have a button/arrow so you could jump to the latest unread post on a thread. I can see the "NEW" next to a thread but it's difficult to know exactly which posts are new.

If it's there already, I can't seem to find it.

As far as browsers go, I keep struggling to choose between Opera and Vivaldi. Both are based on Chromium, but most of the original Opera team is now working on Vivaldi. The current Opera is managed by a group of chinese investors.

That said, the amount of customizability they added in Vivaldi has affected its performance, so Opera still has a much faster UI. Not to mention some of its glitches or missing functionality. That said, Vivaldi v2.0/v2.1 has just been released so I'm willing to give it a try again.

No wonder Opera have recently added things like VPN and other unfitting "tacked-on" features which seems to be a common trait of Chinese-built programs.

Actually their VPN was implemented because they had acquired SurfEasy and thought it was easy promotion for both their new VPN service and browser. Now that it's owned by Qihoo and friends, SurfEasy was sold and replaced with a different VPN. What is their new VPN service? Nobody knows. All I know is that I don't trust Qihoo.

Today I learned that Opera wasn't using sRGB and that it displayed the color used on the background of my layout as #0037EE instead of #00E.

I had to go to chrome://flags/ and manually set Force color profile to "sRGB" so it actually looked proper to everything else on my computer.

Fun.

Anyone who uses a Chromium-based browser, you should check if the color it uses for your images are the same as the colors your Operating System uses. Firefox and IE both used the correct colors for me.

Quantum has been a much needed update to Firefox, and I like it more now, but I still don't like using it as a default browser. I do have Firefox Developer Edition installed though. Also, I never liked Chrome.

Currently using Opera, though I do seem to be switching between it and Vivaldi every once in a while. I really want to fully switch to Vivaldi, but even after v2.1 launched, there's still some features missing or hidden compared to Opera. Not to mention, because of its heavily customized UI, opening and closing windows is a bit slower than I'm used to.

2018 1/2 - "Emptiness":
- I felt isolated and kinda depressed. Most people I knew from high school sort of drifted away.
- I got a temporary paid job as an intern. It was public service related to our country's federal tax department. I actually kinda liked it and I learned to like the people I worked with, except most of the time I couldn't actually do anything except stare at a screen for a few hours.
- Having a source of income was nice. Learned how to manage my finances and savings.
- I was still shy and timid around people, I barely ever talked to anyone and most of the time I had a serious attitude as a barrier.
- Didn't know where to go or what to do with my life. Started to lose track of myself, my own values and who I was and just went forward because of inertia.
- Scared of finding out more about my sexuality, just wanted to keep myself out of it.
- Started learning how to be more talkative and how to trust people more because of work.

2018 2/2 - "Anxiety":
- Found out what I wanted to do with my life, applied for a public college around here and managed to get in. Started to love programming and everything that I was learning there and the place in general.
- Met up with a few people I knew and got to talk about how things have been so far. Some people seemed interested in hanging out again but never said anything afterwards.
- Still have to learn how to be more talkative online. I suck at talking to people on Discord.
- Productivity has been at an all time low. I've been doing all college-related stuff so far, but most of my personal projects have been on halt for an indefinite amount of time.
- Started to come to terms with the fact that I'm bi, leaning gay, and that it's part of my identity for some reason even though I feel like it shouldn't be.
- Politics are still a goddamn mess.
- I have taken a lot of steps towards self-discovery, but the steps towards self-actualization are still missing. I have an idea of what to do next but I'm still a bit lost and worried.

MagicDisc for mounting ISO images, made in 2005 but it seems to support systems as old as Windows 98. MagicISO itself is from 2001. It may not be that old date-wise but believe me, it sure feels old when you use it. Most important is the fact that it has no user interface, you select all its options using a context menu. I use it because it's more reliable than WinCDemu. I'm not even sure if it works with Windows 10. Not a problem for me now, but it will be when I upgrade from 7.

Microsoft did a good job salvaging Vista after the initial release. Too bad all the software seems to have lost support for it alongside XP. I'll admit 7 can be a bit heavy sometimes, specially on old computers, moreso than 8 or 10. Aero is more taxing than you'd think.

I have a spare computer that got here a while ago at home that has 2GB of RAM and an Athlon XP @2GHz. Whoever was using it decided it would be a great idea to put Windows 7 in it and it runs as well as you'd expect. No browsers install (except for IE11) because no SSE2 support, Windows Explorer crashes if you right click an executable and hit "Properties", etc. Fun times.

Probably will be replacing the system in it with XP + some lightweight Linux and using it for miscellaneous projects.

Not sure if I have one. My birthday is in November, but, for some reason I actually like the middle months, June, July and August the most as far as the weather is concerned. Weird, huh? The seasons are a bit flipped over here so those would be winter while December/January would be summer.

If I had to pick one of those 3 months...hmmm. July. Though August comes close.

Where is the link for private messages again and why is it not on the navigation bar at the top?

Fingertip grip because of, what are those called again? The mouse pads with the rest pads? Because of those, it's easier to use the mouse that way, though I assume most mouses are made with the palm grip in mind.
