Yeah, don't you use Epele's name uses the weird Japanese full-width letters now to prevent pings? "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

Posted by DanikaExactly it. It's actually to stop me pinging myself in IRC literally every time I post. I kept getting the same sound alert over and over when the spree was going on with a certain someone's ask thread title being re-edited. Actually, it got to the point that the sound alert was playing again before the previous one ended. The world could always use more heroes! |

The minipics are broken as they're in blob image format. Some older browsers don't support rendering images this way.
Edit attempt 3: After the board has decided to eat my example twice, I'm not trying a third time. :< The world could always use more heroes! |

Posted by Epele Ah... is there any reason for using blob image over gif or similar? Does it save memory or something? "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

blob image data doesn't actually have to be saved as an actual file. It also prevents the old minipic injections of ye olde days. The world could always use more heroes! |

Posted by Epele Ah, so it's more secure then (also how does blob image work? is it like a base64 coding or similar?) "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

♥10504 ✿4497 ★21 Posted by Epele What sorts of minipic injections do you mean? Couldn't anything requiring an off-server image just be put in a layout anyways? |

You don't remember the days where people used to inject logout scripts, or cookie stealing code into minipics? How lame. The world could always use more heroes! |
