Yes, there are more than a few reasons to not like this year. Elections, celebrity deaths, and the like. But it seems like that's all people talk about. What about the good stuff? Either personally or on a global scale?

Personally, I made it to 30 years on this planet, and went to Las Vegas this summer, which was pretty nice. Overwatch and Pokemon Sun came out, and I found out giant pandas are off the endangered species list. Not bad at all.

What other good things do you recall about 2016?

My 32nd birthday, naming of 4 new chemical elements (oganesson, tennessine, nihonium, and moscovium), the Catholic and Orthodox Popes visiting, the ESA's ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter, NASA's Juno orbiting Jupiter, NASA launching OSIRIS-REX, Hayley Williams surviving and escaping from the 27 Club

I took a stupid decision and ended up feeling a lot better. I moved out of the shithole.

Also, turning to sports, the Cleveland Cavaliers won their very first NBA Finals and broke a 52 year drought in Cleveland sports championships, and the Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time in 108 years :) Seems like the sports world has had a better 2016 than the world in general

Published the third book in my Phoenix Element series.

That's about it, I think.
