Eh, a desktop (especially a monster) will always be able to handle bigger power supplies and more cooling than a laptop... so it kind of makes sense. Of course there are those giant "gaming laptops" I suppose, but I feel like if you're going to go with a laptop that you can't carry you might as well just get a desktop at that point. (Though I'm sure there are people they make sense for) |

I have a desktop.. And a laptop which I use as an isolated machine.
It's also useful for things that only support Windows XP, and not later versions. Oh, and 32-bit only drivers. The world could always use more heroes! |

I have many laptops and many desktops. I switch between the ones that work best for whatever situation. I've however become a monitor glutton (I have 3 ATM), so I stick with desktops more so, and laptops when I am out and about. In use, I have a desktop, two laptops and a tablet PC. My wife has one desktop, 4 laptops and a tablet PC. Of which she usually uses 3 at a time.
Unlike Emuz, I only use dual monitors. A 27" and a 24", both LED running in 1920 x 1080. I heard the trap snap shut, then watched her as she flopped in her death throes. I'm glad she's gone, but it saddened me to watch her die.  |

I remember a while back when my house had mice... I didn't know where they were coming from, but I knew they were coming from the bathroom. I had two traps set up in there. One day, I heard the snap, so I went running over there to see if I caught it. I did, by the tail. It dragged the trap over to the OTHER trap and set that one off too! Unlucky piece of shit.
Also, I'm eyeballing a 2560x1440 27" monitor. I already have a 1080p monitor and a 1280x1024 monitor. The latter I'm trying to replace with the 2560x1440. Ideally I'd want two of them. Alternatively, I know those phones have been coming out with 1080p screens in them (like I have in my phone) and are a tiny 5 inches. I really want to figure out how to just get one of those screens and drive it with some controller board. I'd love a screen with amazingly high pixel density for a display. |

Over here, there's a cat outside that doesn't need to be fed, it catches its own food. One day lots of flies were there and as it turned out, there was a dead mouse in front of the entrance door, just rotting there. |
