I've honestly never used Chrome due to the UI differences, along the fact that it's Google that made it. Um... >_> *killed*

I've never said it wasn't awesome, it's just that... I don't really know how to say it. >_>

It's just I'm used to Firefox and changing would be bad.

Changing from one program to another is always hard.
Except if someone has used IE6 for less than ten minutes.

It crashed that quickly just by browsing the home page (MSN).

I thought it was about:blank, or am I thinking of later versions?

No, it's always the MSN home page in a way or the other.

I thought they changed that in one of the latest ones? Granted, the default settings are kinda based on which version you first open up.

Maybe they've done that to show the new about:blank/"New Tab" page? >_>

Possibly. But about:blank is certainly one of my favourite homepage options. It's great if you don't want people chasing your homepage to stalk you.

Don't you mean spyware since they're spying on you, and not slapping you with ads?

Oh, so general malware. Some adware does that, but they prefer opening tabs/windows or injecting ads into sites in an Adblock-bypassing method.

Isn't fun yet expected how Adblock is now required to browse the internet now?

To be honest, I don't use it. I'm also aware that companies pay to get on a whitelist so their ads don't get blocked.

I use FlashBlock. I set that up with a small whitelist for certain sites. YouTube's an example of use of the whitelist.

If it wasn't for the constant security problems (like Flash), Java should have been seriously used more often on websites. >_>

Java would have been so much better for those browser-based games than flash. Flash is horribly bloated, and works best for movies and presenting stuff than more active-interaction. :x

Especially with all the restriction Adobe placed on Flash. >_>

Also, let's not forget the badly coded applications for it.

Flash feels like it gets worse each year to be honest.

I bet in ten years, opening flashplayer alone will require a minimum of 7GB of RAM.
