Actually, a quick reply and a WYSIWYG editor would be some nice functional aspects to add to the board, if you ask me. I don't think we need to have buttons for things like "New Thread" or such though. That's just my opinion of course.
I've said this so many times.

Example: TinyMCE is Open Source, Free, Easy as HELL to implement and use... Why do we not have it on here even as a "Placeholder" if the devs want to eventually make their own WYSIWYG? Oh, and TinyMCE is easy as hell to customize too.

It's weird thinking how young we all were back then. Hell, on the first incarnation, I was still in high school o_O

What I find interesting is that AYB was a bit slower spreading and therefore longer lasting compared to latter memes. Compared to recent memes like "Chuck Testa" and "Then I took an arrow in the knee" (ugh I hate that one) that get's old within the day they're introduced in. I guess that's partially cause memes have far wider and viral reach nowadays due to social networks and sites like youtube.
