Holy shit! I just got off the phone with a person who was running a Chinese auction I entered the other day. I apparently won one of the two baskets I tossed tickets in for, which is awesome.
One of the baskets I entered for was a bunch of gift certificates for the local pizza shops; Fox's, Angelo's, and Pizza Hut. The other one was from Means-Lauf, the pharmacy on Main Street that also has a Radioshack in it, and the basket had a pair of headphones and a Radioshack gift card in it, along with some other stuff I'm not really interested in. Part of me wants the pizza basket, because I'm poor and food would be a nice thing to have, but the other part wants the other one, because I need a new pair of headphones and I have my eye on another PSP memory card from Radioshack (4GB is not enough for running UMD isos, even when they're scrubbed down). |

As I was composing >>14667, I got a call from my dad. He said my sister just had her second daughter earlier this afternoon, which makes me uncle to three nieces. My new niece's name is Natalie Anne. |

I'm at the hospital now visiting Caraline. Looking at Natalie's birth certificate, I realize I misspelled her middle name, it's spelled Ann. Oops.

I just got the basket I won from the silent auction, and was looking through the coupons and stuff that was in it.
It has two t-shirts, both that are too small for me (a medium and a large, I wear extra large shirts), two free pepperoni pizza certificates for Hilltop (a gas station on East Main Street), two $10 gift cards for Angelo's, and two coupons for a large one topping pizza from Pizza Hut. Considering how I bought ten tickets for five dollars, and only put four of those tickets in for the prize... I just got about fifty bucks worth of stuff for two dollars. Pretty kick ass if you ask me. |
